I watched nearly all your videos on the novella, but I still don't know how to do an essay in your structure, and my English teacher is not really of much help. really hope you see this 🙏
@@realjoelj A thesis statement is basically like a summary of your whole essay. It should include your main ideas that you are going to explain so it lets your examiner know what you will be talking about. The whole thesis statement shouldn’t be too long in general, it’s just to guide your examiner. It’s also like your plan. When you are doing your main body paragraphs, you can look back at your thesis statement to see what ideas you were planning to talk about so you don’t forget them and get stuck and you can stay on track. Also, you can add a bit of context that relates to the question to get some marks for AO3 early in your essay. Hope that was helpful
