they're all important, if im not mistaken they give the same marks if you want the dread out the way first, i recommend studying your anthology and making key notes now then your texts, then do practice questions and send to ur teacher

my teacher taught me to do 3 large paragraphs each paragraph will have a point where you include references from both the text and the extract. i notice this is different than what most people do (2 paras on extract, 2 on text) is the way my teacher taught it fine?
Both are fine, as long as you reference both it doesn't matter how much of each ou use they are expecting you tk write more about the extract than the text as a whole cause its right infront of you
Your videos aren't just incredibly helpful for students, but also for fellow English teachers such as myself. I find Jekyll and Hyde super challenging to teach, and at times I've struggled to get it to click with my year 11 class, so this is really useful.

do it if it helps you, but there's nothing ever in the mark scheme stating that you if you should do it you shall receive marks. If it helps you start/ you believe it will help you gain mental points from the examiner for stating your opinion before hand then do it, but otherwise nah
with a introduction it defo helps me to stay focused and outline my points for the essay and u can also show of some context in it which helps the examiner recognise the points early on and a conclusion is useful in bringing ur points together and creating a memorable ending and leave a good impact to the examiner so i would defo use it for all the texts including poetry

The 19th century texts are the one your school will study in year 10 and 11
