I hope Patrick responds to his feelings to make improvements in his behavior, get motivated to action, and I believe he doesn't need to work for a living but could do something meaningful with his qualities and skills

I'm enjoying your reviews. I see very few on non US LIB. Have you seen LIB Japan and Sweden? I watched the third series on LIB Brazil back to back with LIB Japan. From the sublime to the ridiculous.........you learn so much about the cultures of different countries. LIB Sweden had one of the trashiest characters ever; it was wild. I realise that your time is limited, but if you can ever squeeze in LIB Japan or Sweden (esp Sweden), you won't be disappointed.
I think the P&M situation is related to cultural respect ? Because I do feel the same way about handling situations, you need to have respect towards your partner, towards their family and towards yours. Doing something like the US version sounds super problematic as in the consequence you might have inside your own circle, and also for all people who where there for the couple
Thats why when Patrick did his vows and he talked to Marilias family, that's something respectful to do, because getting married is not only gonna affect the couple but also the family, close friends, etc

Contrary to public opinion women have far more to lose by marrying the wrong person, so they need to take it more seriously.

I never would have thought of a nighttime wedding. The setting was beautiful and magical! 🌠
in my culture all weddings are at night and midnight. They usually end by 2 or 3 AM
