I have a 95 Del Sol D15B7. The video's show the top part comes off so you don't have to pull the gear out.
You just replace a pin then put the top part on... similar though... I just ordered the part....

To start with not a ten millimeter bolt it's a twelve

Question if the speed monitor is not working does it has an effect on the shifting gear ?

The speed sensor tells the transmission when to shift in layman’s terms. So yes
