Love my 650!! Great bike lots of fun and super comfortable
I Totally agree! same here...
Should I get this as my first bike??
@@felipesegoviagt9334 I mean yeah... you could start on this bike without a problem...
The ninja650 is the most solid motorcycle ever built.
I totally agree!!! best motorbike tbh
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Very Good and safety/intelligent ride, man! It was a real pleasure for me to watch your video! And the good sound of the Yoshimura too. Merci!
Just got a 2021 650 and I love it. And it’s my first bike. Not too powerful bt will definitely get down when u hit it
Congrats!
yep... that's what I like about this bike...
Looking to get my first bike but not sure whether to get the ninja 400 or ninja 650, I have many many years experience on full size dirt bikes so I’m worried the 400 will be underwhelming, BUT I’m not planning on doing much highway riding so should I even worry about the speed difference? Thoughts?
I mean. I thought the same thing when I got the Duke 390.
I stopped riding for like 10 years & when I got back into riding I was a bit scared to go with a big bike because I forgot how the power felt before. so I got the 390 But then I outgrew the duke 390s power quick... if you have Dirt bike riding experience the ninja 650 is going to be a walk in the park...
@@GhostMotoDiaries thanks for the reply! Yeah I was originally leaning toward the 400 because I wasn’t sure if I needed all that power of a 650.... but the more I think about it I feel like if I did get a 400 I’d be a little let down with the power, after all I’m pretty positive my yz250f is faster then a 400 so you’re probably right I should just get the 650 and call it a day.
@@chasefazenbaker4840 oh yeah... before I got into big cc bikes I used to ride Honda AX1 and a Kawasaki D-tracker on and off road... and then directly jumped to a Yamaha yzf r1.
I know dirt bikes are the best place to learn how to control a motorbike. so yeah I would definitely say the 650 is going to be very easy...
Ride safe & TC Brother...
What mirrors did you install? Winglet mirrors yes but what brand or what platform did you order from?

I just can't decide between Ninja 650 and Z650:X btw. what is the song in the intro? I like it ^^
This is the music im using on this video - ruclips.net/video/6WhefAhgeQw/видео.html
I mean they both got the same engine... z650 is a naked, upright sitting position and the ninja 650 is more sporty and good for twisty roads... I basically went for the ninja 650 2020 model look when I made the choice...
Also, I have seen people mentioning that the Ninja 650 has more top speed compared to the z650 (not sure).
are you looking for a daily commute or weekend fun runs? if you are planning to use the bike a lot on the highway and twisty roads the Ninja 650 is the way to go... if you are planning to use it only for commuting 7 days a week then you are better off with the Z650... also, you can modify the heck out of your ninja 650 to make it feel like a Supersports ( Clipons, rear sets, and many more mods )... I ride mine only on weekends. Hope I was helpful...
@@GhostMotoDiaries Thanks for the song and the feedback! Driving mostly for fun on the weekends. I think I will go for Z650 cuz I can get 2023 model with KTRC. I don't plan to ride much on the highway, only from time-to-time. It just a slight preference, I am more sure it will suit what I need. Having said that, Ninja 650 is also sick af machine! :D I hope I won't regret it.
thinking of getting the ninja 650, only issue I have heard the tingling buzzy vibration at 4k o 5k rpms that can make your hands numb after some time. How does it compare to single cylinder like the Duke 390?
They are 2 completely different bikes in my opinion... you cannot compare the 2. I know this because I had both at the same time...
The Duke 390 is a monster at low RPMs and you can just flick it around like nothing.
the 650 you got mid RPMs and got better torque and I love doing sudden acceleration and pull on it.
I have gotten the 650 to 185KMph (with a pillion on board) still didn't feel it was struggling and had more to give.
The buzzing vibration at 4K is just the plastic panel above the TFT display... I got rid of mine by just putting a vibration damping tape between.
I haven't felt any vibration on my handlebars tho...
@@GhostMotoDiaries Good to hear that. I got this on my list with MT07, SV650 and the GSX S750, the whole package , price and tech and all makes the Ninja the sensible choice in PH for your money. I think you are the same guy in the kawi forums right?
@@markisverygood the MT07 would be a nice choice too, the only sad part about it that Yamaha still haven't updated the bike I think.
Hahaha Yeah I'm also a member in the Kawi Forum :D.
I had a panic attack when I saw oil dripping from the gaskets and found out it was just the factory greeze and some other unfortunate events with the new Yoshi full system not letting the mechanics fit their damn tools to remove the oil filter and stuff like those. hahahah
holy f what wait is that kph or mph?
hahah its just kph
Have you tried removing the throttle cable restrictor? I saw some videos wherein it was removed.
Hmm never knew anything like that... but when you are remapping you remove the rev limit from your ECU. that's all I know... also I think you might be looking at the n650L model... ruclips.net/video/SDVfYMXs6Kg/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/742eqxQirYg/видео.html
Do you need a ECU tune for that exhaust? just curious because you didn't list one
You don’t need one. But always better to get one.
dude I had a lot of fun watching this video
Thank you Hehehehe... so glad you like the video :D
I have a 17 ninja 650 and i love it
The bike has the power and fun bike for sure
Way more low end grunt than a i4 600 class
@@shockw6ve570 100 correct. Im fortunate to have both zx6r and the 650!!!! the 650 doesn’t disappoint and always puts a smile on my face when i ride it. Tho the only complaint i got is the vibration 😔😔😔
Hey Bro, I’m planning to get a Ninja 650 as our daily commuter. How is it 2-up? How is it in the daily? I’m coming feom a scooter and a super sport..
Also plan to ride back and fourth from Parañaque to Quezon Province..
I mean the bike is super comfy and because you already have Motorbike riding experience its gonna be easy... the 650 is very beginner friendly 😀
suspension works great for The Philippines because its on the soft side...
Super Reliable
has good power for the highway.
easy lane split and filter
The only thing is the gas... Right now mine does around 22km per liter, Other than that I don't have any complaints... I have talked to so many people who has used the N650 in the past and nothing but good feedback so...
@@Carlow888 Still going to be cheaper than having a car tho with the current gas situation. I barely use my car these days also you can use the highway...
@@GhostMotoDiaries I see... it does look a lot like the N1000, that i've tried and love it... but since i need a daily all rounder, we were really considering the 650. Plus the 1Kcc's are to heavy for filtering tiiiiight traffic i think. It seems liek a good middle ground, plus when you wanna hoon i think it can right?
And with the gas prices, i think, its a compromise. was thinking of the D400, but i think it still leaves some check boxes unchecked...
@@GhostMotoDiaries true, its way way cheaper than a car. We use the scooter to and from work, but even on scooters, we still get stuck in traffic, which is just worsening everyday as everything goes back to normal
Awesome
Thank you 😁
Looks look a solid powerband!
yeah... Im happy with the ninja 650 power... wont get to use it much on these roads anyways...
0:04 is that a z900 or z650?
it was a z900
How’s the vibration at higher revs?
On higher revs not much. But around 4-6k rpm there is a ton of vibrations - tank, handle bars and the foot pegs. Didnt feel these much before but now that im riding my zx6r alot. I am feeling them all.
How fast can the ninja 650 go
I have only gotten it to 200kmph so around 124mph. Got a friend who is really thin and short and he was able to do 210kmph.
IS THIS MPH???, also if so what tune and exuast?
Do you think its in mph? Also, how much power do you think an exhaust and tune actually gives machines.. ffs my guy
No this is KPH. I think only USA uses MPH...
New bikes in this day & age come with so many restrictions to pass so many emission laws... The new 2022 ninja 650 is EURO5 compliant and man it was bad with stock ECU settings and exhaust... Kawasaki Claims that the bike is 67HP which is not true... When I did a Dyno runs the bike was around 59HP at 8500RPM and Rev limiter was 9K... Once the ECU was flashed and dyno tuned they were able to increase it to 64HP and the Rev limiter was increased to 10.5K... I will be taking my bike for a round 2 Dyno tune to see if we can increase the HP a bit more...
You have no idea how smooth the bike feels now... its much much fun to ride and every $ was worth it in my opinion.
what bike is your homie on
z900
Is this ok for a beginner? I'm 5'10 so I believe I can flat foot this and I have experience on a manual honda tmx 125. I want this to be my long term daily commute bike. I plan to practice first on inner village roads before taking it on the highway. What will be the challenges to watch out for me? Thanks
Flat foot + knees bend
oh, This bike is going to be a cakewalk... This bike comes way too low stock... I have to increase the height by adjusting the rear shock. I am even considering getting a lift kit for mine.
100% thumbs up from me for all beginner Bike riders.
@@GhostMotoDiaries thank you for replying. Very useful info. Will the torque too much for a beginner or it can practice with proper respect on the throttle?
@@shadowprince2210 if you are in control of the trottle its not going to be a problem and also you mentioned you have ridden a 125...
The bike has good torque and HP...
The stock exhaust makes the bike a bit weak so you wont feel the bike's torque that much...
Be Gentle at first 😉😉
@@GhostMotoDiaries thank you for the infos. Ride safe bro!
Sweet ride!
Thank you Thank you 😁...
Great video, and I'm not saying you're inexperienced... I think you're riding quite well in the video... But riding with your fingers touching the clutch & the front brake levers? Outside of that looking very uncomfortable... -Other than one inexperienced new rider in the MSF course I took, this is the first time I've ever seen anyone ride like that on a public street. The instructors at the MSF course kept telling the guy not to do that when riding. Eventually, they got him used to riding without leaving his fingers on the clutch and front brake levers. They said it is a very bad habit that mainly nervous new riders get into. They said it's not good because you're not gripping the hand grips properly & therefore you have less control of the motorcycle.
They also said that an average person with average reaction time who knows how to operate and ride a motorcycle can grab the levers fast enough to where there is no need for riding with your fingers on them. Again, I'm just quoting what the professional instructors said to that guy, which they then repeated multiple times to the rest of our class.
Anyway, I gave your video a like
Thanks for making it! 👍
Safe travels.
@@StormAutoAdventures hey brother thank you so much for your reply and you gave so many good points.
I do not ride with my fingers on clutch and brake when there is no traffic. But when there is alot of traffic around I usually keep my fingers on brake and clutch just in case if someone cut infont of me. I have been riding for close to 15years now and this has helped me get out of sticky situation. Also i do this sometimes riding through traffic so i can react way quicker and i always do 2 finger braking to avoid locking up the front. This could be a bad habit for track riding. Also different instructor can give different points of view. But once you get use to it you dont even realize that you are doing it. You can check some of my other riding videos i dont do that when i ride on clear roads and track. Hope this helps.
Im 5’8 you think I can ride this bike with no problem?
oh, not a problem at all... I know a few guys who are around 5'6 or 7 riding the ninja 650 without a problem...
best to go to the closest dealer and sit on one... you will know then...
this or the cbr500r? 🤔
I mean I would still pick the Ninja 650 for the looks and it checked all my boxes when I was hunting for a new bike.
I mean test ride both and see what you like... these are all in the same power category noting too big... but can enjoy most rides...
One other main reason I didn't consider any hondas or Yamaha is because they are still outdated... TFT displays and other minor details...
Is that mph?
no its on kph... I wish hahaha...
@@GhostMotoDiaries yeah that was throwing me off big time
@@Deeno282 I dont know why we have to use different units and not stick to one so everyone can understand without any confusion lol
Stock exhaust?
Nope. Got a Yoshimura full exhaust system on this.
@@GhostMotoDiaries did you need to get it tuned after you had that installed? Or were you able to drive it right away?
@@Macabre.Marionette you can ride. But its better to get it tuned for the long run. I got mine tuned after like a month. Bike runs too lean and its not good for the engine.
@@GhostMotoDiaries sweet. I just wanted to make sure it would be safe to ride 30min to a shop for tuning lol
@@Macabre.Marionette haha all good. Enjoy the bike and ride safe.
Hey ma friend im a parking collector in front of aristocrat restuarant that you give me sticker, 🔥 ride safe
Ohh hello 😁😁😁. It was Nice meeting you!!!
What kind of exhaust?
Its a Yoshimura Alpha Race Carbon Fiber
Mph or km?

What’s the top speed of the 2022 ninja 650
Kawasaki Claims 210kmph. I personally have no idea... Max I have got mine is 170 with a pillion...
@@GhostMotoDiaries ok thanks would it be a good beginner bike I don’t want to grow out of it to fast
Ninja 400 is a perfect bike for beginners but 650 is not bad idea either .
@@Power-dg9pt Yeah I agree!!!
I have had friends upgrading their N400 after like an year of riding and saying they want a bigger bike and they felt like the 400 isnt enough anymore... I felt the same way on my Duke390 too...
@@TacticalBro 100% recommend for beginners. You will be able to enjoy the bike for awhile till you want your next inline 4 600 or 1000cc ahahaha
Im still waiting for kawasaki to put some upside forks on this bike and re design maybe its handle bar style.
I mean yeah... and then you got the 636 the one you really need if you are looking for upside down forks. also I dont think they will do a upside down fork for the 650... the 650 has been out there for long with same setup...
What’s so special about upside down forks?
@@CoryFugger better handling and absorbers
@@GhostMotoDiaries who knows if the guys from the kawasaki redesign it all over again i mean anything can change right.
@@CoryFugger and better stability and less flex.

why are you mad?
Cuanto cobras para llevarme jajaja a esas rides compa porfa
Jajajaja por ti mi hombre lo hare gratis...
Lo siento si esto está mal porque estoy usando el traductor de Google.
As someone who just bought a ninja 650. This bike is EXTREMELY disappointing. 2020 with yoshimura and some odds and ends. I don't like this bike at all.
I mean some bikes are not for everyone. What bike did you have before you got the ninja 650?
it all depends on what you like and what kind of riding you are going to do... I do a lot of City Rides. If I was looking for Speeding Ninja 650 is not the bike... You will have to look into 4 Cylinder bikes that has more top end power...
Ladies and gentlemen enjoy your machine respect it but also respect others on the road as well do not ride like this guy please do not dodge in between cars and cut multiple vehicles off it is reckless and it is dangerous to oneself and others and it is one of the reasons why a lot of people hate bikers now because they ride like this guy dangerous and reckless and with no regard or respect for anybody else on the road. Again be safe enjoy your rides live long live smart.
Thanks for your feedback. but lane filtering is not illegal so whats the problem? be honest! have you ever ridden a motorbike?
also im sorry if someone have hurt you but I make sure I dont put anyone in harms way... if im going to hurt someone its just going to be myself because im the one on 2 wheels... if you really want to see who can be reckless just check my lates clip LOL and then tell me what you think.
🤣🤣🤣 someone woke up from the wrong side of the bed today...
@@GhostMotoDiaries pulling a gun out on an innocent person isn’t illegal either in your world I’m guessing but okay pal 👌. Only a self centered arrogant egotistical maniac wouldn’t see this as dangerous.
@@majinbuu19831 lol what kind of argument is that? a gun vs a bike... a gun will kill the person you point at... how will a bike kill a person in a car... Thank you for making this easy LOLOLOL
@@majinbuu19831 now if you think it is "that dangerous and I'm going to kill everyone lane splitting" why don't the Governments do not make lane splitting illegal. Most US states now making lane splitting legal too... you are just upset for no reason buddy...

it was only on the intro tho...
