Her voice is an instrument perfectly played along with her flawless classical jazz interpretations making it the perfect executioner of the music without distracting from the heart of the music itself, and, the vocal equivalent of an Oscar Peterson.
I teach voice classes online and for the older elementary and middle school students I use this to introduce them to the genre of the blues. They almost always love her and it -- about 10% choose this as their favorite song of the course. Ella was truly a gift to humanity and to the world of music in particular. What a lady!
