It makes me wonder who or what would be in the credits when the world ends. Which reminds of something I said many years ago. Maybe the universe is filled with many gods. And they got together and decided they could each create one planet. Sort of a contest to see which one could come up with the best planet. Then, by process of elimination, the 'best' planet remains alone in the entire universe. Right now, our god seems to be getting his ass kicked. So he'd better come up with a plan to fix things, if it is doable. I think his first step for getting things on track is to figure out a way to make humankind completely oblivious to the thought that a god could actually exist, that we're all just people who happened to evolve here. It does not matter the what/where/how and why we exist, the mere fact that we are here, having evolved and continuing to evolve, should be enough. Once the people of the world come to the realization that we all come from the same god, which is no god, the world will be a much better place. It is a Wonderful World. Live for the world because that is all we have. We don't have 27 different gods promising 27 different things. Unless there are 27 gods in the entire universe. Then the other 26 laugh at our guy when they roll the credits. However, I don't think he's out of it quite yet. But there is a lot of work to do to get back in the running. I'm rooting the guy.

Just off this I got curious and googled and couldn't help but cry with the beauty of this song and all the hardship gone through to make it thank you for such a almost spiritual moment.
My grandfather died just over 2 years ago and Louis was one of his favorite musicians. I’m posting this on his birthday, which is one of two days when I listen to this song, as well as the day of his passing.
It’s incredible to think how he had such a positive look on the world despite going through times of severe racism and poverty. Nowadays, this is a song everyone should hear and take his advice to love and respect each other to solve more problems.
@@monabohamad2242 your line of thinking is exactly the problem with people these days. Louis Armstrong saw real suffering. But he also saw the beauty in the world. This song is a celebration of that beauty. Nobody is celebrating the beauty anymore. Everyone is too much like yourself and focused on all negativity. Problem being, you focus on the negativity too much, and you are guaranteed to increase it. The sever racism of today pales in comparison to what came before. If you think the injustices of today are on a similar scale to that of the past, I would assume you are very ignorant of all history.

My Dad was a stage 4 pancreatic cancer survivor. In March of 2020 he was then diagnosed lukemia a result of the chemotherapy they had given him to save his life. He sang this song to me from the time I was little until the week he passed. I miss him so much, his smile, his laugh, his rosey cheeks, his good advice and his hugs that made you just feel like you were home, no matter where you were. He sang it just like this, smiling and hitting every note! I love you, Daddy, you really did do this song justice! 💜
My grandpa passed away yesterday and this song was his favorite. He even had it as a ringtone. The pain I feel right now is immense, especially after hearing the lyrics now. Grandpa, I LOVE YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE!
I am so sorry to hear this. I feel your pain they played this song at my grandmas funeral which brings me to tears. I loved her with all my heart and I promise you things will get better over time!
My older brother loved this song. He did a pretty good imitation to! He lost his battle 4 years ago and when it was played at his life celebration I imagined him singing it for God. Ya know, even with all the craziness going on, this really is A Wonderful World. God Bless you all!
destroy his area, no longer in sink with nature, seems so weird when I look around and see what the ones before us left behind, and see how they think have out witted all? the planning can be seen , they creep out to edge of lot, even if it was left for environment, what we are talking about is big money, if the sky is the limit u need to have them build out, destroy that space, wink wink, by pretending to beautify it? and when mother nature acts up, where do u put all that snow? so can u blame them if they are guided by who? that is the question, sorry I said anything just a wrong view I guess? that is progress right?
A song that always touches my soul. The part that hits me all the time is: "I hear babies crying, i watch them grow. They'll learn much more than I'll never know.". Very deep.
This is my grandad’s favourite song. He sang this everywhere he went ever since he was a young adult. It makes me emotional listening to it as it reminds me of him
I already heard this song before in the 60's, but I did not gave it importance. Until one day I listened it an old 45 vinyl and became nostalgic of the true meaning of it. I am now of my prime age at 70 and nearing to left this world. Really, what a wonderful world.
I play and sing this song often for my chickens. Ive suffered pretty tremendous losses in my life, much earlier than most, i dont think i could even bring children into this world to go through what ive been through. But i like to think that my birds understand what im saying to them. Im sure they know much more than ill ever know and how wonderful the world could be
I always shed a tear at the lyrics "I hear babies cry, I watch them grow, They'll know much more than I'll never know, And I think to myself what a wonderful world." It really makes you think about life and its never ending cycle. Just beautiful.
Well all good things must come to an end. One day this world will stop spinning, humanity will be blown out like a small candle. But let's make what we can with our limited time together

is this man just reposting the same comment on every version of "what a wonderful world"
We will miss him this is an amazing song
IF only we ALL had Love, compassion, empathy, & understanding.. what a wonderfully beautiful & joyful world that would be!... ❤
This felt like a punch in the gut to me. The world has been so chaotic and horrible lately, every day I contemplate the meaning of my existence, my purpose, and what will happen after I'm gone, but this just drags those thoughts out of me and tosses them away. Thank you.
Everything this man went through in his life, and he never stopped smiling. He's a model of what we should all aim to be like.

My grandfather died just over 2 years ago and Louis was one of his favorite musicians. I’m posting this on his birthday, which is one of two days when I listen to this song, as well as the day of his passing.
Very few songs bring me to tears, this is one of them 💝
It’s incredible to think how he had such a positive look on the world despite going through times of severe racism and poverty. Nowadays, this is a song everyone should hear and take his advice to love and respect each other to solve more problems.
sadly there's still severe racism that literally got innocent people killed
@@monabohamad2242 your line of thinking is exactly the problem with people these days. Louis Armstrong saw real suffering. But he also saw the beauty in the world. This song is a celebration of that beauty. Nobody is celebrating the beauty anymore. Everyone is too much like yourself and focused on all negativity. Problem being, you focus on the negativity too much, and you are guaranteed to increase it. The sever racism of today pales in comparison to what came before. If you think the injustices of today are on a similar scale to that of the past, I would assume you are very ignorant of all history.
@@ajl8975 just because I've been nearsightedness at least half my life doesn't mean I can't see darling and I've traveled abroad A LOT and seen lots of beautiful sights in foreign countries:(including but not limited to all the beautiful mountainous sights and greenery in germany): until about 3-4 years ago probably cuz I got fed up with being on planes for too long or something you know nothing about me and you know nothing about the lifelong suffering I've been through and yes YOUR line of thinking is exactly the problem with YOU people nowadays I never said nothing good happens these days it's just that I barely get out these days:(not sure if that's actually relevant but whatever):

@@monabohamad2242 we can see the whole world and still remain blind. You’re right though, I do not know you any more than you know me. So let’s bury the hatchet. Put aside the arguments and agree. It’s a beautiful song and there is no need to add more negativity to the world.

@@momoak9284 yes and no at the same time. Human can create and/or destroy. Depends on the desire of the person
destroy his area, no longer in sink with nature, seems so weird when I look around and see what the ones before us left behind, and see how they think have out witted all? the planning can be seen , they creep out to edge of lot, even if it was left for environment, what we are talking about is big money, if the sky is the limit u need to have them build out, destroy that space, wink wink, by pretending to beautify it? and when mother nature acts up, where do u put all that snow? so can u blame them if they are guided by who? that is the question, sorry I said anything just a wrong view I guess? that is progress right?
A song that always touches my soul. The part that hits me all the time is: "I hear babies crying, i watch them grow. They'll learn much more than I'll never know.". Very deep.

I already heard this song before in the 60's, but I did not gave it importance. Until one day I listened it an old 45 vinyl and became nostalgic of the true meaning of it. I am now of my prime age at 70 and nearing to left this world. Really, what a wonderful world.
"I hear babies cry, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more
Than I'll ever know" are some of the most powerful yet simplistic lyrics ive ever heard
This song was played during my mother's funeral, still love the song to this day!
Life is not an never ending cycl u wil die
