Carly has a great voice, but she is just singing the words. When you listen to Nina, you know she is, "Telling it like it is". How I wish she were still around. So many people could use her actual touch of hope and love.
She put her own spin on it and was well worth the risk. Nobody gets anywhere repeating songs the exact way they have already been sung. If you don't put yourself into the song your just doing karaoke. Nobody wants to hear people try to copy the original. If your going to sing it do it your way and do it well. That girl did it her way and well.
