    No surprise, they are beautiful! I loved the macro shots at the end. I love seeing the details like druzy pockets, agate eyes and such.

      Hi Abby, I wasn't sure about tumbling the rocks with druzy pockets but I'm very glad I did 😃
      I would normally have the slideshow images with my hand holding the rocks for scale but I think I'll do them like that last video, on their own with better lighting.

    A beautiful batch Paul, amazing results on all. I have a plan, have to buy some yet, but i will use Autosol polish and a buffer on the Noreena Jasper and see what extra gloss i get. Finished a cab today so might grab some and see. But a great video as always Paul.

    • @paulhardie
      @paulhardie  11 месяцев назад

      Thanks Gordon, good luck with the Noreena Jasper, I was pleasantly surprised with the results I got, just the cotton wheel, no polish 👍

    • @GordonVincent
      @GordonVincent 11 месяцев назад +1

      Yes the autosol and using the foredom and a 20mm polish pad , came up with a really high gloss polish. So between what you did and add the Autosol we are on a winner Paul.@@paulhardie

      @@paulhardie the idea you gave me is about polishing the stones after tumbled . its great and it works. i already tryed . about tiger iron, can i buy some pieces from you/ pieces that can put into a tumber or i can make cabochon myself. if you sell it, how much it will be, for example for a 1 or 2 kg. thanks🙂

    • @paulhardie
      @paulhardie  11 месяцев назад

      Hey, glad the polishing after tumbling worked 👍
      Tiger Iron is AU$15 a kg, depending on where you live postage costs might be the determining factor 🤔

    Hallo Paul. Great result😍. Do you find, or can you boy, larger pieces of Lemon Crycopase?. I would like to try to carve something out of a piece, sometime. Hope you are enjoying summer. New 25 cm of snow here. Cool greetings Jane from Denmark 🇩🇰

    • @paulhardie
      @paulhardie  11 месяцев назад

      Hi Jane, yeah . . . I'm over summer, I jumped in the car the other day and the outside temperature was 50 C . . . it felt like 100 C inside 😆
      I may have some Lemon Chrysoprase in my Chrysoprase bucket, I'll let you know 👍

  • @theocarter1714
    @theocarter1714 7 месяцев назад +1

    Hi Paul, Theo here, I am going to have to get some prase and chrysoprase from you next time! I have a suggestion for you to try, on the rocks like the Noreena Jasper that come out a tad dull, could you try putting some Zam onto your cotton buff on the drill? I found that that polished my turquoise and malachite up like nobody's business! And this was based on a suggestion from Lapidary Dave.

    • @paulhardie
      @paulhardie  7 месяцев назад +1

      Very good idea Theo, thank you, I've just tried Cerium Oxide on some Killaloe I wasn't particularly happy with and it turned out worse than after Tin Oxide so I'm going to give it one last run in the Tin Oxide to see what happens 😀

    • @theocarter1714
      @theocarter1714 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@paulhardie Those two examples, malachite and turquoise were both rocks that did not do well at all with cerium - I did not try tin oxide, but it was remarkable how well zam on a cotton buff did!

    • @paulhardie
      @paulhardie  7 месяцев назад

      @@theocarter1714 I just did a Google for Zam and couldn't get any results that made sense, do you have a link ?

    Really nice batch! Did you use that buff wheel on the Llanite and did you use any polish on the buff wheel? I really liked how the soft jasper came out after buffing.

    • @paulhardie
      @paulhardie  11 месяцев назад +1

      It really makes a lot of difference on the Noreena Jasper, the Printstone not so much, I only use it on the rocks where I think I can get a better shine.
      I don't use anything on the wheel, just the wheel itself 👍
