49ers fan here. Thank you guys so much. I know you won't believe this, but my 49ers house hold was just as loud as any Patriot's house. It was soooo glorious and satisfying.
@@JavierPerez-ou1ku hes saying the guy might have actually called the pick play instead of the interception (which can also be referred to as a pick)....
@@JavierPerez-ou1ku I mean the guy is probably himself a former defensive back, he could see the play unfolding a good second or two before everybody else knew what was coming
The very best part of this reaction is the dog. I love how the dog could sense that everyone was tense beforehand and then got all excited and celebrated with everyone.
I remember just hearing intercepted, and pure euphoria going through me....as a die hard pats fan for 10+ years I just lost it all after keeping quiet for so long (even when patriots made touchdowns). I def lost my voice that night and yes I cussed out sherman on twittter and all the seahawks fans who talked shit about the patriots....this is one to remember for a LONG time
If you remember the Antonio Freeman catch from 2000 where Al Michaels said "He Did What?!" on Monday night, it was like a combination of Antonio Freeman & David Tyree but the results finally went the other way.
It sounded more like a desperate plea that came true. That was the only way they could win. Good call but I think a lot of Patriot fans were hoping for the same thing.
I was in Boston watching the game with my mates and I remember watching the pick and hearing the entire neighborhood screaming and someone in a full sprint running down Boylston screaming his head off. One of the best moments in Boston sports easily
I love watching these to this fucking day. It always reminds me on how I felt in Super Bowl 42, 46 and then 49. I thought it was the end. My house was filled with about 40 patriots fans. Packed in one small media room. We all saw kearse make that catch and all of my friends just fell, along with me. No one in that room had hope. Then it happened, our house was SHAKING!! My dogs were barking and everyone was happy, the end. :)
No doubt about it. Best video out there on Patriot fan reactions. As a 36-year season ticket holder I can't watch this video enough. I was in Vegas at Mandalay Bay at their Super Bowl Party. My husband, one of the biggest Pats fan ever, died suddently in September. So I brought his favorite Patriots sweatshirt with me to the party...so he could "be there" for the Super Bowl. Before the last play, I grabbed his sweatshirt and said "Murph, we need a miracle." And the heavens opened up and the angels started singing "All Hail the New England Patriots and all of Patriot Nation!"
I came here to say just watch the dog from the beginning. Just watching everyone else in the room. He's so aware of the despair at the moment. And then turns on a dime and celebrates with everyone!!! GO PATS!!!
The (jumping) dog Diego was hilarious. Funny enough, we actually had another black dog on the couch that had the complete opposite reaction. He was curled up in a ball and didn't move an inch the entire time. It was fun having a four-legged friend get in the mix of the celebration though haha. GO PATS!
I've been having fun going around RUclips celebrating the Patriots win over and over again with my fellow Patriots Nation. Awesome video, thanks for sharing.
So beautiful. Being a Patriots fan over the past 14 years has been the highest of highs and the depths of despair. We were due for a victory after two of the most gut-wrenching Super Bowl losses of all time because of two of the most flukey catches EVER. I LOVE MY PATRIOTS!!!!!!! #PatriotsNation #WeAreTheChampions #TB12GOAT
I live in northern New Hampshire and your reaction was awesome. It's great to see Pat's fans from all over celebrate. Your reaction was a mirror image of households across New England. It's a moment to never forget!! I think for anyone going through bad times who are Pat's fans....hopefully that moment of joy put a smile on your face...even for a second!!.........Go pats...........Dynasty.
I've been coming back to this video every year for the past 7 years and I legit cry reliving this moment thanks to your video. I still can't fucking believe how awesome this moment was
I've watched all these fan reactions. I love the Seahawk fan disappointment videos, but the Pats fan celebrations bring me right back to the moment. This one's the best. It's incredible when the guy on the couch to the right calls the pick right before it happens. Great job guys (and gals)!!
Mike, you're an awesome athlete but I've never seen you jump that high brother. Amazing video that I've watched 100x and it never gets old. I'm rewatching all reaction videos after the last SB. Love it.
LOL that's exactly what I said when he picked the dog up, except it was more like, "damn, poor dog". He was wagging his tail though, so I guess he's cool with it. haha
I love you guys! I'm a 50 y/o man born and raised in New Jersey. I've never lived anywhere else, and yet I've been a New England Patriots fan since I was 8 y/o back when we had 2-12 seasons with Jim Plunkett. I'm definitely NOT a bandwagon guy. I've been forever surrounded by Giants fans but I never wavered. I waited 28 years for my first superbowl victory, and this latest one was just as sweet! WE'RE BACK!!! Diego ROCKS and your house is gorgeous! I did notice that the two ladies reacted instantly ... they, no doubt, know enough about football to understand what happened in that moment. You are lucky guys! The soccer ball catch was awesome, also! It looked like you practiced that. Cheers!
You guys ran down the exact same checklist as my friends and family. Complete despair, followed by comparisons to Tyree, followed by jumping and screaming at the pick, followed by everyone screaming vulgarities when they cut to Sherman's face. Such an amazing moment.
My favorite of all of these. The dog doesn't know what to do. Between that and one of the dudes telling Al Michaels and Collinsworth to "shut the fuck up" is just priceless. Collinsdork will never shut up.
I think I put the hat on because I thought it would help me somehow hide from the moment. Complete despair. Haha. I was at both super bowl losses to the Giants, and I literally could not believe what we were witnessing, and we were going to lose on another circus catch. GO PATS!!
had the same reaction man. In Missouri and been a fan a long long time. Originally from east coast. I was in a house full of people going against the pats....me and my wife went crazy!
I love the dog man,, he didn't got scared for whatching you suddenly jumping and screaming,,,, he got exited too. xD I was like that too, but I was whatching the game with a bunch of friends that don't watch Football, but they did whatch the entire 4th quarter and where happy with the finale. I think I got a couple of new fans that night.
Lol this video is great!!! Seriously my reaction was ridiculous. When I saw the play for the interception happen I ran around the house and for some reason took my shirt off screaming and yeah it was just a crazy moment haha go pats!!
That guy doesnt put that Pom Hat on at 0:50 they lose. Trust me on this... Put the hat in a safety deposit box until the regular season next year AND make sure he wears it EVERY Sunday.... GO U PATS!!!!! UNREAL!!!!!
I’ve noticed watching these over the years there’s almost always a specific order of events that unfolds in almost every patriot house hold. First: disbelief that there could be yet another improbable game sealing catch. Second: fans trying to convince bill to take a time out through the tv screen. Third: utter silence and defeat as we face the inevitable lynch TD run. Fourth: one fan calls “intercept it” or “pick” before anyone else can process what’s happened. Fifth: absolute anarchy ensues. Sixth: cries of satisfaction upon seeing the disgust on Sherman’s face. (with a confused dog/child/friend that doesn’t understand what’s happening mixed in there somewhere) and it never fails to put a smile on my face.

I go back to Luis Aparicio tripping around third base in 1971, and have suffered through various World Series, Stanley Cup, and Super Bowl meltdowns -- all the way to the sanity-check unlikeliness of the catch 2 plays before the Pats won. One of these announcers said, “but they’re not in yet,” what prophetic words leading to the Malcom Butler Interception!
