Abandoned Caboose | St. Johnsbury, VT | A real Polar Express? | Rutland Railroad | Christmas Train

Driving along US 2 east of St. Johnsbury, VT I found this old "Farmers Daughter Christmas Caboose." Having spent a lot of time growing up in New England I knew cheese cabooses and ice cream cabooses, but a Christmas Caboose? Was this from the Polar Express? Or was there some other history behind a van #59 with telltale signs of the New York Central, Rutland Railroad and the St. Johnsbury & Lake Champlain/Lamoille County?
I just said "van." That should be a clue...
