Zhongli's ponytail is so smol 🥺 it's so little lolol in the game, it's actually really long! What was mistaken for his ponytail was actually his earring he has! Also, his hair is an ombre into a gold, as he's the Geo Archon! ☺️
I was looking for someonn who has noticed this! It's his earing not his ponytail :D Otherwise it's a very cool design.
I do this occasionally and sometimes I swear it’s nightmare fuel instead of the character itself 💀💀💀

Its funny cuz she really didnt do very well. Especially considering that she had the silhouette which most people who do this challenge dont get.

I didn't expect LavenderTowne's designs to be super close to the originals given how detailed they are, but I was surprised by some of the details she missed. Such as Ganyu's black bodysuit and white dress, or Zhongli's dominantly orange/brown color scheme, or (most surprising to me) Paimon's distinctive starry cape. Those would be the first things I'd think of for these three characters' outfits
But then again, having referenced Genshin characters while designing my own original characters, I'll admit I've probably spent more time staring at them than most people have

AAAAAAA I was laughing my head off watching her draw ganyu XD I draw a lot so of course I draw Genshin characters (bc it’s my fav game) and ganyu is a character who’s design I memorized
Ive tried to draw hu tao so many times from memory but I can never remember what the details look like :(
I’ve drawn her a billion times and now her design is ingrained into my memory but most of the time when I do look at references I always seen to miss little deaths and such in her.

once my teacher took my pencil away while i was drawing hu tao and now theres just a faceless hu tao in a mcdonald’s outfit saying “i hate my job” while the people in the drivethrough say “can i get uh..”
I really love this, I’ve recently done this “challenge” with friends and it’s really reminded me of how truly intricate all genshin designs are! It was really fun and I recommend it to anyone who’s willing to try it :)

Man. Respectfully, this was excruciating to watch. I’ve drawn Ganyu so many times, and maybe that’s warping my view, but with Genshin, they keep their character designs as far from black as possible. Well done, I am going to play Genshin now as copium.

The designs are not super identical because Genshin has way too much detail and so this challenge was made to be difficult but you still did an excellent job at drawing them! I look forward more of your art!!
I've never played genshin impact I'm not really a video game person but every time I see the characters I recognize them because they're so good. They all detailed very differently but still cohesive with one another. And I don't typically like anime style but the shading and rendering makes me happy

as someone who CONSTANTLY draws genshin characters, this was just a *bit* painful

The amount of detail on the characters is bigger than the amount of gigabits it has
The confidence with zhongli and then getting the hair tips wrong because its actually gold like the geo element. Every archon has the tips of their hair collored to the color of their element and it glows when any skill is used. And the “ponytail” in the silluet was his earring not his hair. But honestly it still looks much more accurate then i’d ever do so goodjob!
I didn’t know you played genshin this is so awesome most RUclipsrs I watch have never heard of it

I think that all the characters all have this one simple rule they all have in their designs and it’s that there back design either it’s hair or clothing it’s always gonna be split. If you check out all the characters their backside is split into two and it’s probably done because your gonna be looking at the characters back while playing so there’s that.
