Question, if I don’t have the building gels but do have clear acrylic would that work to encapsulate? And would you recommend layering a thin amount of the clear acrylic or layering top coats?
I have never seen anyone create a base with acrylic and cap in gel, but I love the idea of it. I have a hard time getting gels to stay, so I could get the adhesion I need with acrylic but the look of gel.
I know this is old but I would love to see a fill on these if someone wants to keep the same exact design! You guys did a video recently on a dimensional fill but the design was different than before! Love love love these nails!❤️

OoOo also, Not going to lie, I chop up “ In Love” milar too! and use it in just about every encapsulation. I honestly don’t think I have found anything more attractive to work with. 💜

Hello beautiful work👏😁..I have a question.. Instead of using the gel could u use acrylic? .. I have a 6 watts led lamp and ive tried to cure gel like this but have not being successful... Also since im a beginner when practicing in a doing a nail the base layer of acrylic is very unbalanced ending either missing acrylic or uneven through out th nail... Could i leave the base acrylic uneven and just keep adding for example glitter acrylic after wards and then just worry about making the encapsulation the best? I tried to make a pink acrylic cover and then glitter acrylic but they were very thick..i dont have an efile so besides taking forever to file with a hand file i dont know if i should file the glitter or of its even possible so my nail with pink and then glitter and finally encapsulation ended up suuuuper thick.. Help please😁!!
Yes you can use acrylic, yes it can be left uneven. Main focus when creating dimensional nails like this is to keep it extremely thin so you have room to work and file.
I have always been curious what the ratio or statistics between people using acrylic to people using gel.. I know you guys dont have exact numbers for the entire world lol but with in your company do you guys sell more gel products then acrylic products? Your a very well known company all around the world.. so kinda knowing your "statistics" would probably be close to what the entire world is doing in my opinion lol you might not even be allowed to tell me that so this could be a waste of a question lol if you could answer that be awesome.. I think more and more people are interested in gel because there is no smell especially important if you have a home based business or like myself just do nails at home for yourself. Also some people are allergic to acrylic. It really does depend but some think gel is more expensive and takes longer than acrylic but Tracey shows us how it really doesn't take longer than acrylic.

How about doing a full set of nails on a subscriber. I am sure there are plenty here who would love to have their nails done by Young Nails. Also I really like the new logo.

Encapsulation for sure takes time, that's why you must charge. For this full set there was 4 total and a full set would take about an hr 15
