Popcorn Sutton was a fowl mouth mountain man, but he was hilarious. He once told about his aunt in one of his interviews; she would speak her mind with no regret and with profanity. It did not matter to her who was around, church pastors or children. Popcorn could be blunt and tell anyone they were crossing the line with him. He was the wrong person to mess with. I never met him, but his interviews and videos like this one tell his story well. I would have liked him a lot.

Maggie valley is such a nice place. Spent two weeks there in 95, could have stayed forever.

He was 48 and looked like a champ, not gonna lie, if I seen this guy making moonshine and he didn’t know I was there, I would instantly turn my ass around and sneak out of there, but if I knew who he was I’d just sit there and watch his craft

RIP. Popcorn your legacy lives on for ever. Wonder what happened to all his antiques and stuff he was selling. Does he actually have a grave to pay respects to? What state was he buried in

It looks like it? That women and this man that is taking in the camera was acting suspicious?? Asking questions. That what happened. Popcorn should’ve seen these people behind the curtain of what there true colors were. Never trust anybody outside of your family.
