Loving the 5 Star site. What a place you have set up. Its called a pitch? Definitely gas to barbecue. That oven like seems it would make great pizza. What a site with a market and bakery. I realize there is a lot of planning behind the scenes and hard work. So, thank you for the wonderful video and sharing your journey. Doing the daily chores such as washing of the clothes and having all the socks accounted for. Checking out the toilet facilities is a blast. Wow the outside wash area. Oh how cute for the children. Hairdryers to the mirrors. Wow so impressive. The outside showers are great also. Dishwashers! That is amazing when they had it. Rental of private bathrooms! Yes, they are so clean. Loving it.

Hi all. If you cook on a barbi regular allways save the ash from the last barbi. When your barbi is glowing red hot put the ash from your last barbi onn top of the barbi. This drops the temp of the hot coal. For more heat poke a small through the top of the last barbi ash.

My Mum went to Croatia years ago and absolutely fell in love with the place and she was there when the volcano erupted and airlines weren’t flying so she was delighted when her tour company put her up for a further two weeks !! As for the price of the campsite, guys if you’re not gonna treat yourself now then when !!! Go for it !!

Those showers and toilet facilities are fantastic! But!….. you need to see the facilities at Camping Natterersee just outside Innsbruck. They are to die for! Fantastic vlogs both! Really enjoy watching your adventures. Picking up some great tips for our return trip to Croatia next year!

The pitch you had by the water was fantastic. Beautiful campsite. The amenities there are very nice. And you're right, the washrooms there were very nice. The. So you have a new subscriber here. It is genuinely the best we’ve been to as well although a bit more quiet in May and facilities like the champagne bar were not open nor was the market. When we last went though in spring 2019, they also accepted ACSI in early season, it was 23 euros per night on a premium pitch for a car and caravan. We had three wonderful weeks there but alas, they no longer take ACSI.
In Australia I use shade cloth made up to go from awning to ground for shade (pulled out in a triangle), also folds or rolls up to nothing & can fit anywhere.
used to visit Croatia so much and went to the local supermarkets that the locals laughed that I should have had a Konzum loyalty card :-) Anyway great stuff, making my wanderlust rise again.
Although have subscribed and enjoyed your travels for a number of months really felt I had to comment on the cost of the campsite. Quite expensive but look how fabulous the site was which you all obviously enjoyed which I think makes it all worthwhile.
Sort of reminds me of a camp ground we stayed at near Kavala Greece during the 60s. It wasnt as big and fancy, but it had a nice beach with boats to rent.

The facilities there look amazing, especially the dog beach as it’s so hard to find places that allow dogs on the beach, they really have thought of everything. 😍
I used to have very bad sinus and I’ll sleep with a wastepaper basket and a box of tissues next to me. It gave me dark circles too. Then one day I took cordyceps supplements and a year later I realised my sinus is gone! Woooo! Went to laser off my dark circles too 😂. It’s all good now. You may want to try some good cordyceps.
@@RoamingRadfords the brand I took is pharmanex. Safe brand so not to worry as I’m particular about what I pop. It’s a MLM company so they might sell you more stuff. Just focus on telling them you only want cordyceps. Alternatively, get some good ones from traditional chinese medicine physicians. 😊
What a site, you would be much more than that in a hotel and have way less facilities, on the other side, you guys looked like you a nice relaxing time to soak in the atmosphere, take some time to breath and actually just enjoy family time, loving the vlogs ❤️💙
Well I think that was very good value @ 150 a night for 5, at a site that seems extra special, I agree with Lynd's you need to chill for a few days, because every day moving IMO is not a break, it's a treadmill. stay safe and enjoy the remaining days of your adventure. An after thought, maybe a cock up can reap just rewards.
Camping Krk is our absolutely favourite campsite we love love love it!!sadly we aren’t going to make it this year currently At lake Garda on our way to Venice but we are going to Krk next year for a week! X thanks for the perfect review 🥰
Woow, I also love Croatia, but last visit was 10+ years ago. Back then it still seemed good value (not cheap) - but average 150€ / night even with 5 is gross. But good thing was, Lindsay and you all obviously had a great time!!!
Gas for me on a portable stove with the small propane bottles/cylinders. I've used charcoal but it always seemed more wasteful to me. Beautiful scenery, it's been fun riding along! If you ever come to the States, you have an open invitation to park at my place.
With you on the flag Lynds. Charcoal but not the disposable types. We saw you yesterday but didn’t get chance to speak. Would love to take our caravan to Croatia but my time off in school holidays is limited to 16 days, so you think it’s doable?

@@RoamingRadfords tried gas, but used to put the food on a charcoal bbq after so food kept hot & got the smoked tast, tried basic charcoal brickets, tried foil throwaway bbq's all ok but Lumpwood charcoal gives a real smoked heavenly taste to your food xxxx practice makes perfect lol

We love that campsite. Stayed for two weeks earlier this year. Absolutely fabulous. A lot cheaper with ACSI in the low season. 😉 If you walk past the dog beach and out of the gate there is a great coastal path into Krk town. You pass several really beautiful little beaches. Perhaps you could try the walk next time you visit.
Why would anyone pay that, each to there own I guess but hearing the prices you have been paying for your holiday and prices per night is utterly ridiculous, more money than sense.
