- Ooops we did it again! Camping Romantik is a tiny Croatian vineyard campsite with “tight” access. Join us for a couple of days of rest and relaxation as we ride out more storms.

So we were neightbours at camp tranquil 😊how you call it! By the way,a really good name for kamp Romantik in Kapelica!!!! 😅We will get there some day again because we just loved everything about the small but great Campsite😅there!!! Lindsay offered the other day some coffee to my husband and later to me when we run out of Gas. That was very nice! Yeaaaah, we were wondering how on earth you will get out of the campsite, but you managed it somehow🏆 And you are a very brave man walking close to our quite bossy dog called Mascha😂😂😂😂 It was a pleasure to us to meet you😊 lovley videos of yours ❤ and yessss I have already seen some made by you as I told you in croatia 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 they are really good and full of information, enjoy your live ❤

We had problems with our Swift Kontiki sport for the same reasons, lovely van but very low. Ripped the pipe work off the bottom numerous times making us doubt our choice. However, with the addition of air on the back, we’ve not had an issue since. Cost circa 2k from LMB in Bristol, but quite a few places do it. We’ve got the Alko rear, so a dogleg suspension, not standard airbags. Helps with the long overhang at the back also.

Hi dear Radford Family. Last year we found you here on RUclips and we watched almost everything you uploaded. So much fun and valuable information about traveling in Europe, living in a campervan and meet new (and old) friends along the ride. We was looking forward to this season and have saved every video from this year to binge watch in our caravan. But, we have to say that we are struggling to find the good feeling, valuable information and coziness you mediated the last seasons. We hope that you find your way back to the good enjoyment you had earlier. Wish you all the best and we hope to follow you on many nice adventures in the future.

Oooh that food looked good, just have to mention we picked up our new 884 2 wks ago and are currently at moreton in marsh, our sat navs DO have the ability to put your vehicle dimentions in have a look it works great, i've decided to sell our tourer two sat nav now.

You need to investigate airbag suspension, if you get the right ones you can raise and lower the height of the van at Will from the cab
Now we are back in the UK wile will investigate properly!
guys consider air bags fitted. u can pump it right up when in low places and deflate when driving 👍👍

I have noticed that you have the Angles Morts sticker on the wrong side of the vehicle at the rear. Has anyone ever mentioned this to you abroad ?
Love your videos, is your swift a lot lower than most other tag axel vans? It does appear to have very low ground clearance

Good work getting out, can any modification been made to the suspension to raise it for such situations. My air suspension lifts us right up but yours is a beast of a bus, so top job.

Do you put those knives on the magnetic strip away when travelling? Wouldn't like to see them flying around in a crash.
They survived the terrible Croatian road so we feel pretty safe!
@@RoamingRadfords that's the most stupid thing I've heard. That's nothing like what would happen in a bad crash. You've got 3 boys right in the firing line. It might not bother you but think about them.

I just spotted you have the same coffee machine as me on this older video - do you store it on the move? Or have you secured it? I was looking at the Silwy magnet things...
Loads of comments about air suspension. Check out how much lift you will actually get. I fitted it on a single axle Adria with a big overhang not to get extra height but to get up plated. Air bags can be used for a bit of lift but on mine it's only about 50mm when full. Your van sits very low anyway so it might not make a huge difference. Good luck.

It seems the van is just made for motorways and flat surfaces, which is a bit odd, as usually entrances at camp sides are never flat nor sleek

We always eat dinner together around a table, there was no chance I was ever changing my diet, or cooking two different meals, so they have grown up eating what we eat!

Summer vacation is pretty much the same in all ex Yugoslavia..Croatia, Montenegro ,Serbia ,Bosnia ...was same when i went to school long time ago..from middle off Jun to beginning off September ,there is also winter vacation which is 3 weeks and is around New Year and also one shorter in April ,around 7-10 days.
So it was always main tourist season during school summer vacation ,everything before 15 Jun or after begging off September is off season

Hey Bob! We arrived back in the UK in time for them to return to school on time. Don’t worry, we’ve lived “Covid home schooling” and we have no desire to go back to that chaos!

@@RoamingRadfords Have a look at an after market fit. You will be able to raise up the front and rear a little bit. It would also smooth out those bumpy roads for you too.
