yes, that's my favourite bit as well - in fact it is for every Swiss found-lover :-) But the cheese has to be from a great cheese-store and the mix of the different cheeses as well. See you in Switzerland and greetings to Devon 🙂
Thanks for watching, Wildcat, yes I a very privileged to live in this beautiful country. But there are other incredibly beautiful places as well, check out New Zealand, the landscape blew me away. chers and safe travels Simon
My eyes were full of tears watching your video. The simplicity the tranquility and the beautiful scenery. You are a very lucky man to be able to enjoy such experiences. I wish you many many more ❤
Enjoyed the calmness while experiencing the scenery. Thank you. The train was different, I like that experience. And, honestly loved how you took the garlic around your pan. I've never seen that done before. 💝. Dinner looked divine.
Hello, my name is Cindy and I'm from Tell City, Indiana, USA. Our town was settled by the Swiss and named after William Tell. At first they called it Helvitia then changed it to Tll City. Said the area reminded them of home cause of the hills. Although its pretty, its nothing like Switzerland. We were settled by the Swiss/German. Just wanted to say hi and start following you. 😊
Hello Cindy and many thanks for watching and the historic background of Tell city, now All city. I had absolutely no idea that a city with that name even existed. How wonderful. So you must have a couple of people living there who actually still speak Swiss German? Or at least a cheese shop to buy a selection of great Swiss cheeses like Gruyere, Appenzeller or Emmentaler? :-) I lived in Colorado and New York NY for some years and both my sons were born in the US. Just looked up Tell City on google maps. Maybe I will pass through your town when travelling on the Panamericana and cook some fondue for you.. Cheers and have a great day Simon
so funny you ask, James, and I am actually surprised that nobody asked that before. It is an antique bronze figure that I bought about 15 years ago which is my lucky charm and has followed me ever since. I just mounted it on my lamp - and it fit perfectly. Cheers and thanks for commenting Simon
I took 2 of my Kids to St Moritz to Ski and drove via the Julierpass in February. It would be interesting to spend a night at 2284m on that Pass in the Snow!
Normally I also take the Julier Pass, but with the traffic and my truck I hold up all the travellers behind me.. You should check out the area in Summer, it's fantastic as well. Thanks for watching
I’m new to your channel. A few months ago, I drove from 🇫🇮 to Swiss and stayed for a month at Isenfluh & explored the close-by area & also Delemont. I want to return, 🇨🇭 is although quite expensive it’s MAGICAL & worth the price❤😊 . We have to bring all supplies though from Germany or France. I had been wondering if I would go with a camper trailer in the future but with something that big or a similar vehicle like yours would have difficulties navigating along the winding & going up the small mountain roads. Probably won’t fit Isenfluh’s tunnel. I want to return… I think about Swiss everyday. I’m a new vlogger / chef too, adventure / culinary / pastry & bread baking is my theme. Maybe we can do a collaboration when I return someday.

Hello Louise, thanks for watching and subscribing, very much appreciated. Yes, it's definitely worth to visit Switzerland when you are in Europe. A lot of things to see in a relative short distance. Many tourists don't visit Switzerland because they think it is tremendously expensive, but when you know where to go and do your research, its is actually not that expensive at all.
