I think it's a sign. Remember, she did say she wanted to be strong with us. I think she merely had us killing her because she first wanted to prove herself in the fight. Show she was the best figher, and therefore, the one he should choose as a partner. Gods have to be strong after all. Plus, it's already bad enough you betray everybody. Let's try to make sure the person we choose DOES want to remain by our side.

They are creations made from the memory of Nanashi and therefore they are submissive and faithfully follow their "God" (something like the angels in SMT IV)
And that is the whole reason why I thought Anarchy ending was the worst of the 2 neutral endings, because while Bonds ending may be the same as all neutral endings where it just stalls for time, Anarchy has you potentially restarting the conflict yourself, because by the end, you may have possibly become YHVH yourself.
Basically. Nanashi is becoming yhwh. The souls of those that are revived aren't actually themselves. They're just meat puppets brought to life through dagda, meant to serve you as servant and nothing else. None of them are human or even truly alive. And dagda sees nothing wrong with any of it because he saw all of them as just a means to achieve a goal in creating a new universe, one where his godslayer sits atop of above everyone else and where he can simply exist in nature itself.
Fuck. Imagine if YHVH uses Infinite Power and Gaston suddenly jumps in and misses, causing you to be unable to Dekunda and Magaon so YHVH just obliterates you on the next turn.

Ugh. That DLC actually has potential to be really interesting from Nanashi's perspective. Especially on Massacre. Maybe Nanashi is swamped with guilt over killing his friends and his deal with Mephisto is him attempting to cope. But, Nanashi, being a silent protagonist, gets no development and so the DLC ends up just being a beach episode with Mephisto thrown in at the end.

Shin Megami Tensei IV and Apocalypse are those games where i will never play in Japanese voices but voice acting in these games are sooo damn good but I will say like Demiurge Japanese voice more. He sounds menacing compare to his Cold voice in English
Now personally I always thought it was fucking bizarre on how easily Flynn goes along with everything, if you picked Isabaeu i think it would've been hilarious if you then had to fight the equivalent of the demi-fiend boss in Flynn
Finally made it to that point in the game, and I chose Isabeau. The fact she was cool in SMT IV, reads manga, and is useful in Apocalypse was what did it for me in terms of choosing a goddess. And a lot of the stuff she said here reminds me of Hiroko's quotes in SMT II Neutral ending. That was an awesome tribute to SMT II.
No the goddess is Izanami and only the first two games Megami Tensei I & II have reincarnation of Izanami as a central character, and the closes game to uphold the meaning of the name since those two is Persona 4.

The rips I downloaded didn't label the files (they were just long numbers), so I had to sort through them in order of file size. I deleted them as I went, so that's probably how I missed hers.
I HATED making this choice. I had JUST come to terms with murdering my party, JUST started being okay with moving on alone, and then Dagda pulls THIS bullcrap.
Issachar's fish hook is a memento of their time as Casualries before IV. As Flynn showed, it means that the Flynn of old is no more, dead, and this new one is just a replacement as is your Goddess (remember the "manifested from YOUR memories"), like Danu did to Dagda in the Friendship route. In either ending, you lose friends. That *if* you consider Dagda a friend.

Yo, the way Erica Lindbeck made Asahi's voice sound so robotic and stilted as the Goddess is some great acting.
The voice actors for the game are pretty cool in general.
