2 Samuel 18:33 And the king was much moved, and went up to the chamber over the gate, and wept: and as he went, thus he said, O my son Absalom, my son, my son Absalom! would God I had died for thee, O Absalom, my son, my son!
This quote is from the Bible, the greatest literary work in the English language.

Hmm, some of the stuff you say, I don't really see it. Take that example near the end "let us never negotiate out of fear, but let us never fear to negotiate". You say it's saying the same thing twice, but that's not how I see it. In fact, it's saying two entirely different things. "Let us never negotiate out of fear" means that we mustn't allow ourselves to be coerced into negotiation when it doesn't suit us, simply because we're afraid of the consequences if we don't. Whereas "let us never fear to negotiate" means the opposite: when a negotiation would be beneficial, we mustn't allow fear of our opponent, or of appearing weak, to keep us from opening a dialogue. In fact, if you think about it, it's saying two opposite things: don't be afraid to negotiate, but also don't be afraid not to. Even the fear alluded to in both parts of the sentence is not the same one.
Same with "with malice towards none, and charity for all". Malice towards none means absence of strict (non-zero) negativity. Charity for all means presence of strict positivity. The latter implies the former, but not the other way around. The notion that you are either malignant or charitable, with no possibility for a third option, e.g. neutrality or indifference, is a false dichotomy. And not understanding this distinction leads to a lot of "if you're not with us, you're against us" nonsense rhetoric abuse that preys on the uncritical mind.
There's a couple of other things earlier in the video as well. But I can't be buggered to scroll back and point them all out. Besides, this comment is already turning into a novella anyway. These, however, really stood out to me.
