In this video, I show three easy ways to free up some disk space on your C-drive or hard drive on Windows without losing valuable data. This would also solve the problem of automatically full C drive, it will work for Windows 7, 8, and 10 and even if you’re not running out of disk space yet, is recommended you perform these processes every once in a while.
Method 1
Clear out cached Windows updates.
Method 2
Perform a disk clean up.
Method 3
Use the size:gigantic command on your windows to reveal all files larger than 128MB.

heres a tip when your in your reycycle bin in your computer dont press delete because it will end up somewhere in your C: drive so to actually remove the files in the reycycle bin press Ctrl and X and they will be deleted from your computer.

Thank you so much! Running the second one multiple times (which I didn’t think of, even though I’d ran it once) cleared a gigabyte from my computer, which is a lot compared to the 3 bytes I had before. Hopefully I’ll be able to download some more advanced computer cleanup apps now!

I had residual files leftover from my friends nodded version of skyrim. He deleted the folder but all the files in it stayed, meaning I had over 60 GB of mods hidden away and not able to be found by my computer or by roaming the files. I found it finally by using the size search. Thank you so much!

i have a problem when it comes to the size:gigantic part..a person who knows more about windows files which are important and which are not(in general he knows more about pc and programs than i do etc etc) said that i shouldn't delete any files that are in my : "C: / windows" location coz if i delete the wrong files there it could affect my pc in a bad way..si how would i know which files im able to safely delete when it comes to the size:gigantic part if some of those files are in my C : / windows location??
