For me this is the best version of O Holy Night, not only because im a Swede. Tommys voice is both smooth and powerful and his vibrato perfect like a soaring frequency that just hits a cord inside my soul.
That'd be Jussi Björling's version. But this ain't exactly an Idol contestant either, to be fair.
His voice is so comforting. !!

I think "O holy night" is best sung in Swedish. The lyrics are deeper than in English and very poetic at times, a bit dark and serious which actually suits the theme.
He started out as a pop singer in the late 60ies in this video he is years old. Respect
