I just got done building this bridge and it turned out great. There’s a few mistakes but not to bad it still turned out great and I’m very pleased with the out come. Thank you for sharing this tutorial.
I've actually been working on using a modified version of his tree house design to build a full blown ewok village, problem is Brontosaurus keep marching into the red woods and getting close so now there's metal spikes on the ground around it 😅
I have done. As long as you stick to one of his styles (viking medieval modern) youre all good. Except i coukdnt resist his japanese gate as the town entrance. My server never looked so good
Heck, with a little more extra you could make a full base out of that bridge with your base on the top level, and the walkway on the bottom. I can easily see a crafting shop, greenhouses and aviary hanger on the top level. Put some Behemouth gates on each end, and perhaps a few out-platforms for land dinos connected to it. On a populated PVE/PVP map you could charge tolls to cross the river. :-) Great build as always Aaron!
This youtuber would have many subs. Making all this buildings takes many time and also the video editing (music, transitions...). I hope this youtuber becomes one of the betters ARK s youtuber. :)

@@Sitharias That is going to be an Attempt I am going to Make soon. When I was about 20 or so I built an Actual (Radio Controled electric) Submarine that I used in a Lake. This was in Texas in the late 1960ies. After I dropped out of Kent State way too Cold up There.
i used this to span viking bay in ragnarok as part of my city build. its modular design made it easy to widen to the point that i could walk a giga across although i did add extra pillar supports to do (hidden under water of course to preserve the aesthetics.) i also made the arches functional as defences, installed a mini garrison into the central tower, added a few turrets for support against aerial attacks and put gates at the entrances. i then build a second bridge to the original specs just for tribe travel and scenic pleasure.
The bridge ending one tile short from the water's edge, on both ends no less, Triggered me so hard. haha. If it was on purpose, well played, master level trolling.

How did you extended all of those ceilings all the way across the water without any supports underneath? No "nearby foundation support" message to be seen. If this is just due to the underwater pillars, I thought they had to touch the above-water ceilings to be considered "supported"? I guess I'm going to have to try this tonight...
I'm stuck and can't figure something out. The setup at 4:40 isn't the "four stone ceilings out" that you showed earlier, and the wood pillars I place (as you did at 4:56) end up way too high to align with the Thatch Ceilings off the Stone Foundation. It feels like there's a step missing to line these up? This means I can't accomplish the thatch-ceilings-all-across. What am I doing wrong?

So before I start building this I just wanna know. Can all the stone under the water be deleted once it is complete? Wanting to do this but no in water in a canyon area on scorched earth
I'm making this bridge that you're showing us, but it is much longer. I'm having a problem with the ceiling support on the sides. Once you render out of the area where the ceilings are attached to pillars near the beginning of the bridge, you can't place any more ceilings. I'm trying to place the thatch foundations on the side, which you use to place your other beginner foundations on the other side of the water.
@AaronLongstaff First of all sorry for a response on this old video, still hope you see it and can anwser. The calculation seems a bit off, at 12:31 where we can see the whole bridge, the left and right side can be divided by 2 for 29 tiles each, so that is (3x8)+5 left over, so the middle section is not 4 spaces, unless you don't count the 3 spaces on the start and end of bridge, then the middle is 4 spaces, but tried to do this with a bridge that is (2x8)+5 on each side and couldn't get the same piller placements like that could you maybe explain how pillers would be placed with only 2x8 sides and 4 in middle?
This build took me 12 hours, 1 hour of looking for the area, 2 hours attempting to build it, 4 hours of me having a mental breakdown, 5 hours to finish it. I was on creative mode btw...
