Women have been told that snarky is good. Opinionated is good. Compromise is bad. And experience is often bifurcated. If a woman exists in social media then her areas of expertise are going to be insular due to a filter bubble effect. It might be also true with men, but wanting to talk about your area of interest ad nauseum with dudes is considered like an autism symptom. I think there's merit to having some general knowledge so you can talk about what the other party is interested in. Conflict resolution and compromise might be good. But if your reason for existing is to live for yourself absent compromise (and the other party has the same opinion), then what use would you even have for a relationship?

Has it occurred to you guys that the reason the chorus of women online spouting this stuff seems so loud is the fact that this generation is the first and most ONLINE generation ever in history, and on average or at least for majority of women who grew up online, they’re just now hitting the age where their sexual market value for the first time has dipped below the sexual market value of the men their age and slightly older, ie, they’re approaching 35, 40, 45, 50, whatever age, and they’re realizing that other women want their man just as bad as they do, and they can’t handle the fact or they’re completely oblivious that they’re being crowded out by younger, more fertile, more fit, more feminine, more friendly, or more kind women who also want those same guys.
I think this happens every generation although this generation of future spinsters is a particularly large cohort, but it seems like this is a familiar phenomenon that happens whenever women form a massive ego, they become “too good for everything and everyone” aka “all that and a bag of chips”. They think they’re settling, but any self-respecting man with a thinking brain knows it would be settling to pick HER, not the other way around.

Society tells women that no man is "good enough" for them. That they can "always do better". Telling them to "never settle" and to "have fun while your young".... While they're out doing all that thinking that they'll just be able to find the perfect man whenever they want to actually settle down, they're just decreasing their potential dating pool and their dating value. So the man that would have been a perfect match for her ends up not even wanting to look in her direction.

No I completely understand. I was married twice, and I'll be the first to admit the first marriage was right out of high school because she got pregnant and that's the way you were supposed to do is get married.
Thankfully we both came to that realization very quickly, and was divorced after only a couple of years. And then I got remarried at 28, to a beautiful young woman, we had four absolutely amazing kids and she decided she was bored.
She had more than one Affair that I came to find out about later, but she literally walked out one night and never came back not for me not even for her kids.
So I raise those kids, they're all doing very well or for the most part yes the youngest is 18 the jury's out on him LOL
And yeah I'm 57, and once the youngest hit Junior high, I started looking again to maybe date. Not for a family just for a companion. And yeah that didn't turn out well, the modern American woman is hopeless , and I know that I'll be single till the day I die

It's a combination of three factors: feminists, social media and high standards.
1) feminism has made it impossible for men to ask women to date or compliment.
2) social media has ruined what it means to be a man or woman. Thus, we now have women telling men to f*ck off and that we're useless.
3) Even if a woman wants to date a man, most have super high standards that can't be met, such as a man must have a high six-figure salary or look like a movie star instead of finding the good in a man.
I'm sure there are other factors at play, but those seem to be the three big ones I've noticed.

Honestly I hardly ever see good looking women anywhere but clubs or places where there's no option but cold approach. When I tried looking for women in hobbies, it's mostly men or old women. Most women walking around are already taken and they almost never go outside alone with the intent of meeting new people. They don't need to, there will always be a guy willing to take the first step either in social media or anywhere. I suspect these women don't know how to meet new people because they almost never had to. Maybe guys are simping less or giving up.
