Just starting on my first shirt. My husband picked your pattern online. He asked if I thought it would be a good one - oh that's MimiG? I'm getting that one! I am blown away and tickled pink to be learning how to sew the pattern from the actual dude on the envelope!!! Now following you on Instagram! :)

Great good!!!! You have really been paying attention to Mimi with the way you explain so clearly. Your voice is smooth and not annoying. The camera set up for all videos are amazing.

Excellent video! Thank you! I have never really understood the 'burrito' technique of the shirt yolk, so it's so nice to have your great demonstration; also collar stand and collar attachments on the pattern instructions drive me crazy, but you made it look so easy, and plackets too! Thanks again!!!

Loved this Sew-along. In future videos, would love to hear your suggestions on finishing. I am still a bit confused on whether serging my seam allowances and pressing them to the side or 'pinking' them with shears and pressing them open is the best way to go.

Such a help when attempting the yolk 'burrito' method and especially the placket - what a nightmare this has been and I have undone it twice now. Before I found your video I could only find photographs or the instructions in my Fairfield shirt booklet, which is fine is you are not a novice like me! I only bought a sewing machine in Lockdown, made a few easy skirts and this is my first shirt, for my brother. It is in a Liberty Tana Lawn fabric, so terrifying to get it wrong. THANK you for your clear instructions, great filming and, yes, what is your sewing machine as it looks and sounds good? Thanks again, you are excellent.

I see what you are doing man and i respect and support your hustle. Thank you for following your goals to reach your dream because you have created an opportunity for me to do the same by viewing and following your video.
I do have a question, are you using the same fabric for interfacing or purchased some interfacing and applied that. If you did purchase it, where have you found interfacing for the lowest cost?

No shade my brother relearning and learning more about sewing and found you and watched the whole playlist and I just noticed that once you get to the end of the tutorial where I think you think its self explanatory i.e the buttons on the denim jacket or the hem on copying your favorite tee you just talk instead of either speed edit to a final process while you talk or just showing it as a beginner these steps and a final reveal worn or hanging I feel are crucial thanks for the response and the boys subscribed so when the new content drops ill get the notification also I noticed that there's no links in the description ti purchase or link to the pattern kits you use from I assume your ole ladies business. would like to check those out and see pricing too for myself.

Minor suggestion; don't use white or bright fabric for these sew alongs. Everything gets blown out in the video and makes it hard to see what is going on.

Great job, I just wish you would specify on the sides of the fabric as in “right sides” or “wrong side” of fabrics because it is hard to tell which side is being sewn to which side on your fabric. 😕
