An incredible and awe-inspiring game. Daniel Naroditsky annotated it with equal bombast and insight in his weekly column on Chess.com, and I can't wait to read those notes again.
Seems like Sam has a point... Stockfish 14 (according to my particular analysis) seems to think that ...Rg6 can free the queen, but white is still better.
Kramnik just a bullshit, how the hell he win kasparov in 2000? After seeing their games, when kasparov agree to draw with white after several moves, I believe in Fischer all their matches are fixed lol

wow, yes, what an amazing save by Shirov. And i had never even heard of him. Thanks for showing this game and great annotation.
Alexei "Fire on the Board" Shirov, that name should tell how great he is.
Kramnik's hair is a catastrophic blunder, bless him
Kramnik reminds me of Weird Al Yankovich :)
Another great analysis! Also, I like the games you pick - they’re a bit off the beaten path. Cheers! 🍻
What a game!
Mindblowing stuff, thanks!
Good content!
after 10:05 why not kramnik played Rh3 and trapped the queen?
Sam said "after ...Rh6! it's unclear who's better" in another comment
Rg6, and if Rook takes queen, knight takes back, Kg1 is forced and Nf3 check, forking the queen and king, the bishop's pinned by the rook.
great game, thank you very much for this video, but I think you should also explain why not 31. Rh3 trapping the queen instead of knight
