As far as I'm aware, the only "permit" needed in LA was for concealed carry. My understanding was that "open" carry was always allowed without permit. So, my question is: does LA's "Constitutional Carry" apply to concealed, or is this just an official endorsement for open carry?
It's amazing how many people don't read the Law and get training. They know, haha. Since I travel, I keep a concealed permit and it requires me to take training. I also belong to US LawShield in case the loving government decides they need my gun or I actually have to use it in self defense.
@@robertcalkjr.8325 yeah even after I gave them good advice to do so, well a false sense of security for a few hundred a yr is worthless.... Or priceless
The CC permit does have to be "issued" within the last 4 years (maybe 5) so if you are getting one just for that, don't get the "lifetime" version because they never update the "issued" date.
@@jamesj4086 okay no problem I do have the lifetime permit but I saved my 5 year permit that I got first before my lifetime one.. so maybe I can show both because the first one will prove that I’ve been having a permit for at least the last seven years.
@@cfavalorofavaloro6053 the gun stores have been telling me that I need to go get my lifetime "re-issued" (like I lost the hard copy or something) to get the "issued" date to be more recent. If it was more than 4-5 years, it won't qualify for the paperwork skip.
Awesome 🎉🎉🎉🎉moving forward
