Oh...I wanted to tell you, Heather, when you said you wrote out the Bible for hand therapy, it really inspired me. I started the day of that video, and write a chapter a day...I'm start Joshua 6 today. It's kind of shocking how much we miss because we skip over things, like the lineage of the tribes, when we're reading...it's an entirely different read when we are taking the time to write the Bible, and amazing how much we missed by skipping over those passages. I have loved every minute of it. ❤

He was a wonderful husband, dad, step dad, friend & we do miss him with you. My prayers are for your continued healing & I thank God our Father for holding you through these past several years. Heather, I found your channel many years ago on my homesteading journey. I always loved Matt’s silly goofy sense of humor and his beautiful smile. He always seemed so knowledgeable and seemed as though he could fix anything! I just loved his silly ways! And I always looked foreword to his guest appearances in your lives or videos.
We never really know how much we appreciate something like that until it’s gone…it’s more than just an overused saying, because it’s just so genuinely true.
So thank you for allowing your beautiful husband to also make us smile too. Thank you for sharing him with us.

Beautiful tribute... I loved how he could make us laugh so hard by just a look he gave us. LOL Or when I would call and say "Where am I " ? He knew right where I was. If it wasn't for Matt my Dad's place in Fla wouldn't of had such a good security system he hooked me up with a company he knew and trusted. I sure miss him.

I loved watching this compilation video...I remember the birth update and so many other clips. What a beautiful compilation. I only wished that my husband and I did this instead of a photos because I lost him to a heart attack on 4/4/22 two weeks exactly after my step son killed himself. I give anything to hear his voice again. You Heather have been an inspiration to me ever since I started watching you cook from scratch to canning. As I walk without my best friend you encouraged me in so many ways and when I felt like I couldn't go on because my grief of both losses was much to bare....you put a video up and I knew I could get through this. I am glad that I was the women to walk with him through his life, at least his last 22 years. Thank you so much for all you do. Everyday I pray for your family and you also brought me closer to the Lord instead of being angry. So sister I don't know if thank you will ever be enough...i am now living in Michigan outside Battle Creek.

This is brought even closer to me this year as my Sister was involved in a head-on collision on January 8, 2024. She is still in the hospital. The driver who did this to her has a long list of criminal offenses and no insurance.

I am so sorry! Lord, cover her!!!! I am still, 3 yrs later, in legal battle with my insurance company. The drunk driver had no insurance as well. It happens every day. Every single day.
