I`m watching your build as I too run a (what I think) post 1940 jalopy ,but with a 4 banger .When it comes time to bleed your rear brakes run a tube up above trunk level full of fluid to help get the air out, we had a bit trouble getting the air out from the under floor master cylinder until we done this .Great channel and I wish I had your patience to film stuff.
I d8d end up using the early spindles. I was going to use the later ones because the brakes will bolt right into them and I was considering trying to use a cross steer setup.

Great tip. Thank you.
Good show man.
Thanks. Appreciate you watching.
Run a 46-48 rear radius rods. F1 box you can also run a 53-56 F100 box.
I decided to go all pre-war so I'm pretty limited on my choices.
What year rear drums and backing plates
I think the drums are 40-42. The backing plates are 39-41.
Why dont you use the 34 spindles that came with the front-end

Is “Maine A’s” supposed to be pronounced like mayonnaise 🤔
Haha. Yes, pretty much.
