10 months ago. 🤓 I don’t think it’s underpowered. I keep a 6.2 on it. Can’t seem to find the 6.2 batteries anymore. But it cuts fine, yes it’s smaller, when you need bigger use bigger. It’s worth it for what it’s capable of by far. After using it especially with the fsk rails or plunge cuts, you’ll get pretty creative with it. I have 2 of the new 8.0 batteries on pre order, mainly for the table saw, but I’ll try one on the hkc of course. 🙂
The day I bought mine, it paid for itself in aggravation alone. We were cutting 16’ T&G outside and bringing it inside to install. If I knew what I learned the first day using it, I would have bought two. I would have had one on each side of the 16’ board. I recently purchased the 670mm rail for cross cutting plywood. Excellent choice. Jn.3:36
Deserted island. If you could pick one or two tools, this is one of them. Had mine for about 2-3 years, absolutely love it

how do you align the FSK rail? Mine is not cutting square.
mine was't square either, returned and got a replacement which is square.
