I gotta tell you-that’s a tough one! Such an aggravating omission! I don’t have the figures in hand, but my first thought was to try taping them off…maybe cutting the masking tape in half lengthwise and pressing the uncut edge above and below the raised stripe and either painting it or perhaps using a thin black paint marker. There’s this stuff called “Formaline: Charting and Graphic Art Tape” I’ve been wanting to try. It’s crazy thin (1/32 of an inch) so I thought maybe it could mask off small details better than masking tape because it won’t bunch up as much, but I haven’t tried it, and that’s not really what it’s supposed to be used for. I’ll get back to you if I find out that it works.
Sorry. When I got it in hand it didn’t bug me as much, plus I feel like there are moments when his slicked back hair has a little poof to it, more so in Revenge of the Sith than Attack of the Clones, though.
It would be great to see a Tales of The Jedi Dooku custom from you !
Gotta say, this figure IS a little on the youthful side, so maybe if he goes on sale I’ll pick one up to try that out!
Your custom looks great. The TVC is a fantastic figure, but you are right the hair should be whiter.
Thank you!
Burt, what is your approach to adding brow lines to the 212th trooper?

@@noskillcustoms Interesting. There's also a 1/64 inch as well. Please let me know!
You didn’t address the weird thing with his hairstyle though. How it’s not completely slicked back.
