- We should never neglect the importance of basics, pouring a decently nice heart requires all the basic skills done right such as:
- Pouring a nice and undisturbed base for that max contrast against art later
- Correct landing position to get a center and asymmetrical pour
- Flow control to maintain a steady and strong milk stream
- Tilting/correcting cup at the right speed to match the speed of pour
- Slowly ift up without pulling backward then gently cut forward to complete the pour
.
Only with all these basic done right will allow us to progress to more advance art pouring with greater confidence and consistency

Don't knock the art of the blob at least that means your frothing the milk right 😂 you get an even bigger blob when you use almond milk lol

How can you draw a rosetta but not a heart? Haha. Drawing a rosetta is challenging for me. The heart was the first art I knew.

Raise your milk cup! When you make the heart, cup is low. When you end the heart with the cut, your cup is high! The speed of the milk will pull the heart down in the coffee, creating a cut.

You have to froth the milk before steaming

Just regular cows milk, microwave it for around 40 seconds or more id say, and then use a electric frother, blender, or just put it in a jar and shake it for a few minutes.
