nastias lines were to die for. she could've been a great rythmic gymnast or ballet dancer.
Her mom, in fact, was a rhythmic gymnast in her youth in the Soviet Union.
Her mom was not just a rhythmic gymnast, she was a world champion.
She always looked more like a rhythmic gymnast
Hugo Retamal she did
Her mom was a rhythmic gymnast.
She's built like her mom
Which made her such a beautiful artistic gymnast. Like a supermodel among a pool of minions.
Nastia Liukin is my top favorite gymnast. She epitomizes true grace, beauty, and elegance in all her routines. She was a born to be an Olympic Champion. Actually, I think she was the first Olympic All-around Gold Medalist under the open scoring system in gymnastics.
I love nastia luilkin perfect lines!!! Her story is outstanding
wow Nastia looks so much like her mom now
Looking back on this is always great because I went to Woga from the ages of 6-10 and I always saw Nastia training and she inspired me to be better.
that's cute how come u stopped at 10?
With that ballet, it's no wonder her lines were so graceful. A real mix of modern skill with the balletic style
7am is hard for her because of all the mental and physical draining from the practice / day before
I need Aliya Mustafina
Stella Al. me too
Stella Al. Yesss
Harry Potter Lover because she's also a gymnast duhh
hmm...
2010 All Around World Champ
2012 MOST DECORATED OLYMPIAN MALE OR FEMALE AT THE GAMES
Gold on Bars, Sliver on team, Bronze in the AA and Floor
2015 European AA Champ
2016 Olympics:
Gold on Bars, Sliver Team, Bronze All Around.
And she doesn't deserve it?
You dont need to be all around gold medalist to be a good gymnast! If you use this logic, Aly Raisman wouldn't deserve that either, or Victoria Komova, or many other amazing girls who didnt win the AA!!!
I LOVE nastia luikin
is the best gymnast ever
I'm so happy this has been posted! I've seen bits of this video but nothing in HD
She's just a true all Russian American gymnast Beauty!...What an American dream she is , just athletic and graceful "GORGEOUS!" And an American gold Olympic champion!
I'm a huge fan of Nastia, for gymnastics in competing or training. Interesting that her parents are gymnasts like, except her mom was a Rhythmic gymnasts.
She's an incredible gymnast! I wish I could understand what her dad was saying! I think he has a lot of advice on the sport, and possibly on life as well!
Turn on the English captions. Also another post wrote what they said.
I just love love love Nastia. I just wish i could meet her one day and tell her how magnificent she was.
i've met nastia before she's so nice
Her slight southern accent 😍😍😍😍

Valeria Concepción yeah Aliya
Valeria Concepción ALIYA PLS
Valeria Concepción ALIYA
YAS ALIYA MUSTAFINA WE NEED IT.
Then move along!
I wanna see Fabian Hambuechen of Germany.
Great family!!! Humble and united
When Nastya came to the sceen I fell in love with her when she performed on the balance beam. I thought to myself that's how you do it.
As soon as I heard the word rhythmic gymnast I feel like I need to cry because i spent a lot of time doing it but they only told me how bad I was at it and if you don't care skip this comment
People do care.
unknown child I think we all have something we love but just aren’t great at. At least you pursued your dream!
Great video, but I did not see subtitles for Mr. Lukin's comments.
mezzofondo you have to turn them on for it to work
Alex Miller Thanks for the tip!
mezzofondo Lol, I knew what he was saying because I am Russian
Turn on Closed Captions
Sasha The Gymnast same
It's cool her parents taught in New Orleans, I live next to it in Baton Rouge, I have a flight this morning from New Orleans too
nastia is one of the best gymnast now,2018
Wonderful family Liukin ♥
She actually lived in Parker Texas. But Plano is a bigger city so I guess they used that.
Ya the gym is there too
Drinking game: every time she says "you know" take a drink
SKochishmiiish that is a little odd--I've noticed that hearing her speak in more recent years, while her messages are articulate in their content, she has started to use "like" more often than she used to.
It would have been cool for her to try rhymic gymnastics when she returned
i ❤️ nastia!
I love her
Did anybody count how often she said „you know”😂 this triggered me hard
Nastia is super
Did anyone else think Nastia's dad was speaking in his original language. But then realised that he just has a really thick accent?
Olivia S. I don't think it's a thick accent. It's actually Russian he speaks.
Olivia S. Only when he said "More pains in here, less pains in the gym" that was English. Did you mean this one that he has a thick accent?
Olivia S. That was actually Russian, I can understand it and it's not English
Riley Brown ya same
Olivia S. he was speaking Russian 😂
That's awesome someone from Russia was near, I live in baton rouge that's right next to new orlea
Вот папина гордость🎉. Браво Валерий
I'm trying to go to the Olympics and I practice around 30 to 35 hours a week I do monday, tuesday, Wednesday, thursday, and Friday I do a lot more hour that a lot of the girls in my gym
Most Olympians practice 40 so you're doing good! :)
I am a half polish and understand MUCH of russian 😂❤
Hey thanks for translating the Russian.
5:26 owww!!
I wake up at 6 am cuz I'm a gymnast
but on Sundays, I wake up at 9am
Am I the only one who couldn’t understand what her dad was saying in the interview?🤔
He's speaking Russian, you have to turn on subtitles in settings
I need Viktoria Komova.
She's one of the best gymnasts we would ever seen. And she cannot use chopsticks. Wasn't thinking uneven bars were easier ahahah
i always wake up at 6:40 (with no alarm)
At 3:23, I think I spy a young Rebecca Bross on the beams!
Yup that's definitely her
Well, it's hard to wake up at 7 every morning? I have to get up every day at 5.30 😂
Sarah Häberli for a child, yes. 7 am is hard
For a child? I'm 15 now and I have to wake up at 5.30 since I'm 12... 😂
Sarah Häberli is it not stressful for you?
Sarah Häberli I think she means like never sleeping in a in weekend like other kids.
lol i also wake up at 5:30 am and im 13!
Put on captions if you don't know what her dad is talking about
What was this interview originally done for, that Valeri and Anna would be speaking Russian? I know the fluff pieces for US TV they generally spoke English
А что плохого в том , что они говорят по русски?
@@user-ts3or7td5y Nothing wrong with it! Just interested in what programs in Russia cover gymnastics
she look like her mother !
i swim and my training starts at 6 and goes till 8 (am) after i go straight to school but my friends would get up at 4 am 5 times a week for swimming so..... yeah
izzy evangelista I ama. swimmer too! i have practice at 5:39 to 6:30 than go to school then right after school i practice from 3:30 to 5:30!
same! except i swim from 6 to 8 in the summer and during the school year I swim from 5 to 7 every day.
My cheerleading went from 2pm to 6pm and 8am to 4pm on Saturday.
Wow I saw Rebecca Bross when she was little there
Subtitles during her parents segment would've been helpful.
You need to turn the “CC” subtitles on in English
I met Nastia,Aly,And Simone
Very good
Oh man! I thought this video was 8:00 minutes long!
you heard that! a bunch of hard work
Her mom is rhythming gymnastics world champion her dad also 4times Olympic champion
😍😍
3:59 I fr thought that was rebecca bross😂
It is
k wait why aren't there subtitles for valeri bc i have no idea what he's saying lol
Amy K turn CC on
Truthfully, I couldn't believe he didn't bother to speak English 😬
I have the same name as her and I'm from 🇺🇦 Ukraine
I need Aliya mustafina
Do Aly raisman please
when was this filmed?
In March 2006, as it shows at 0:38
right before 2008 olympics i'd assume
Could you do Aly Raisman with her redemption story please?😍
Put on captions so you know what her dad is saying
At the top right of the screen touch and turn in the “CC” (closed captions) on in English
I can't understand a word her dad is saying
Abbey Erb he was speaking Russian
Abbey Erb • Turn on CC.
algum brasileiro?
I wake up at 5 o'clock most mornings for gym!
I need subtitles
click cc button
Where's subtitles can't understand what her dad saying
Touch the top right of the screen and touch “CC” to set the captions to English
Subtitles would be nice
There are but you need to turn them on.
Do they speak Russian to each other?
Yes. They can all speak Russian so I'm sure they do. :)
Why isn't this translated????
does the cc button not work?
In my opinion, Mustafina is the best, but Nastia is still great
Shes not though. At the end of the day the medals and standings speak for them selves
Yes she's a great gymnast but as a dancer those sickled feet killed me
Im not from the USA. I had no idea she was Russian!
Shes not really. Her heritage is
TheNonMakeupGuru she was born in Moscow but she became a US citizen. She probably has dual citizenship
Did they forget to translate her father ????
Turn on the English captions
Did she just eat sushi with a fork...
The mom looks like Jenna Marbles omg !!!!
Isn't woga hwere whitney is training or no
Lpsyandere Lover1987 no that GAA
Gymnast Vs gymnast thx
You really didnt even care enough to add subtitles for Valerie's comments? It's extremely disrespectful especially after everything this family has given to USA Gymnastics. PLEASE FIX THIS!
i didn't know she was russian
Luikin...? Duh.
that's not true
Why her parents are nötig speaking enflish
They probably express themselves better in Russian. Turn the “CC” caption on to translate to your language
Oh I thought he said autistic in the beginning then I realized he said artistic lol
She's that person who eats sushi with a fork.
So am I
Aliya Mustafina
to wake up at 7 is tough? girl i wake up at 4.45 for gymnastics till 18.00
pelin s Sure, you do 13 hours of gymnastics per day
Andrea 😂😂 I know right. People love to lie
because that aint illegal. All because you think you have it tougher than someone doesnt mean you do and definitely doesnt mean you should go around bragging
Its “LEE-ooh-kihn”. Not “LOO-Kihn” Lolol. 🤦🏻♀️
Wish I spoke Russian.
Aliya mustafina please
Could the US coaches train girls to be gymnasts like her instead of wrestlers!
thats so rude. coaches play to the strengths of the athlete and their natural ability.
I doubt any other gymnasts had a tall willowy rhythmic gymnast mothers gene pool
@@Elong. Many girls have tall willowy parents. For basketball or ballet dance coaches and physicians select girls when they are very young. In the USA for WAG they select girls like Simone Biles. They could also let tall and willowy girls be top WAG athletes.
@@GoldForAnna In the US the girls themselves decide if they want to become gymnasts or not. It’s not a government decision.
Absolutely, but as Nastia told, when you are a thin child, everybody tell you “It will be very difficult for you to succeed in Artistic Gymnastics”, and great coaches won't be interested in loosing their time coaching you. In the US, if the parents have no money, and if they are tall and thin, their daughter won’t be an elite gymnast. Don’t you think so?
Maior testa que já vi
Simone biles 4 life
6:10 Those dogs are likely dead by now
Sure your parents didn't push you to do it, sure....whatever you say Nastia.
She said her mom made her take piano and do other sports and she would be upset because she wanted to be in the gym. Gymnastics is fun!
They both said they didnt and her at sixteen was clearly saying she does it for her self. theres a difference between force and establishing clear rules and boundaries
