    .. Just purchased this tiller for my sub-compact tractor .. have yet to see how it performs ... having used walk behind power tillers in the past don't have anything else to compare it to ... Why do you want to till deeper than 4" ... especially since you cultivated prior to tilling .. it's all a learning experience .. all knowledge is good ...

      You are correct, it's all about knowledge. For the record, the plot I tilled over and over again in most videos was not the same plot I cultivated and planted corn in.
      For myself, I did it because there was a terrible invasion of morning glory weeds and I wanted to see if aggressive tilling could eradicate them without resulting to chemicals.
      For others, I assumed that others' would want to know how to adjust such a tiller, as well as what it can and can not do.
      I hope viewers gain some knowledge from the videos, or at least are inspired to test the performance of their own setups in various ways.
      For you, there are a couple of shallow tilling videos in my playlist. These are where I tilled the plot I planted in.

    Is the blaster that you squirted on the same as WD 40?

    • @abundantlifehomestead3100
      @abundantlifehomestead3100  2 месяца назад +1

      Not really. P Blaster is a very low viscosity penetrating oil that is great at freeing stuck nuts and bolts and better for lubricating machinery that stays outside.
      WD40 is a good lubricant and rust preventative for parts that might get exposed to high humidity or dew, but not really out in the weather because there it will gum up and attract dirt over time.
      Hope this helps. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

      @@abundantlifehomestead3100 thank you! You explained the differences perfectly. Luckily, I was able to get the nuts off my tiller today by putting a 3' metal pole over the handle of my socket wrench. I will look for some blaster at the store for the future. Thanks for your help!

    The off guided completely for more depth

      I think with this particular setup, if there were no guides, the tiller would dig too deep and either get stuck or bog the engine down to quitting.
