The blond in the family is Deneen Melody from the movie "Slices of Life". I've seen some of the other actors but don't know them all. The band killed when they played in San Antonio. Especially this song.
They went back to making thrash. But in the late 90's they made a album which was not there usual speed metal formula. It was death metal. At this point I think you are fucking with me...
Yes those bands are heavy without growls, but notice that even then most of those bands don't sing in the same way a Judas Priest or Iron Maiden, it is more aggressive than those bands because the music is heavier. Stuff like Obituary, Cancer, Jungle Rot is just the next step up on the ladder to me. This is just a style of vocals that takes time to get used to, it is not for everyone haha. I don't think it's outdated, if anything there's too many bands doing it now haha!
