Just replace them with Megatron arm canon
You should glue the ratchet joints to the arm, that way the screw wont move
I've already tried this, it doesn't work. It just makes the plastic piece/gear break instead of the screw piece

When you paying that premium price, you better get premium quality.
I canceled my preorder on this because the qc issues were too widespread. For the price that this costs, these issues are unacceptable. Hopefully Transform and Rollout re-releases this figure with the qc fixed in the future.
Not only that, look at how long this was supposedly in development (it was announced years ago). Their Jazz also took forever, but it wasn't riddled with QC issues - at least, not in the reviews I've seen - so I really wonder what went wrong here.
If they do, I’ll get that one…

I tried posing him and messing with him when I first got him, and I ended up replacing all of the fingers, and then 2 of those broke. He now only has 4 fingers on each hand. Also his shoulder joints also broke on mine, so I set him up in a decently cool static pose and set him on a shelf where he will stay indefinitely
I don't have this one. But I have the basic Optimus version from the show with no upgrades. I remember my Dad bringing me to a toy shop in Spanaway. I believe it was in it's own spot and once I got the toy I LOVED IT! It wasn't much but my Dad helped me get it. I colored it with black marker as a kid because I was going through a Black Spider-Man phase and wanted to color almost EVERY toy I had in my possession. So my Optimus Cybertron toy is a Black man right now
That's probably Bayverse Prime in disguise , he wanted to take your face , but took your finger in place

I actualöy loved the tf cybertron design for optimus and when i saw the figure i though i woukd get it at some point but from what i have seen in this short and another video i wont get it
I do hope that the people who made this Optimus Prime figure remade it better quality control, especially on the arms and fingers.
I love this guy, just got him. his fingers were fine out of the box thankfully so for that reason I keep them balled up in a fist. on my copy all of the ratchets were fine, the only worry was his thigh swivel which does work however every time I move it my heart drops because of how fragile it feels lol. the only issue I have is that for being an enhanced version of the OG cybertron leader optimus, it didn’t fix the issue of the super flat back. other than that, he is a perfect representation of how we all viewed cybertron optimus when we were kids and for that nostalgia factor he is a 10/10 in my eyes. so glad I got him 🙌

Shopping the third party Transformers market is like playing Russian roulette with a shotgun. Also, I forgot how much of a banger the Cybertron theme is!
I got one of those and I still have it when I was a little kid it was a gift. I have all the accessories for it still and it still works nothing broken. It's a little dusty but that's about it.
That's such a shame, because he looks like a really good representation of Cybertron/Galaxy Force Prime. If only his joints were better.
Third Parties can range from high quality figures that will stand the test of time or to Bold Forms Gladius The Dark Emperor (Third Party G1 Megatron)
Is there some kind of upgrade kit for him for these kind of situations?
Im really wanting this guy. . .but damn those QC issues. . .i really hope they revisit and re-release him with the problems fixed. . .
Yeah, I'm sticking with my Galaxy Upgrade Optimus Prime. I may have had to buy a bunch of upgrade parts for it & cut away at a couple of hinges to make the wing backpack detachable, but it was worth it.

I have tried using rc shock oil and Krazy glue on the shoulder gear. My shoulder with the oil broke but the one with Krazy Glue was fine. I dont recommend anyone buy this without the spare fingers.
I brought that long time ago. Everything is broken, but I only keep the head and the matrix.
I see all these redesigns and third party Cybertron Optimus and everyone seems to be disappointed by them. Real glad I still have my original.

I had original when it came out by far this best Optimus toys at that times beside the g1. But only issue I had was the ears keep failing off and it’s so hard to find on my carpet . Maybe it’s just mine and not every one else .
Thank Primus I've got the original. This thing was so alluring to pre-order and I probably would have pre-ordered it if I didn't had the original. Yes, the original is blockier and not so posable, but it's still a really good toy.

This is why I was so nervous to buy Light of Peace. I knew that Magic Square had a good reputation, but if you preorder a 3rd party figure and it turns out to be full of issues, you're kinda out of luck.
I’ve had Light of Peace for about a month now, and I think it’s pretty great. The only problems I had were a leg missing the piece used for the ratchet joint and loose butterfly joints, both of which were easily fixable.
Just be sure to get the metallic version, as that one has many QC improvements over the first release.

@@wumpus976 it "feels" a little fragile, but I don't think it actually is. I haven't had any issues with fragility

When I heard how bad early copies were, I cancelled my preorder and decided to just wait out for when FansHobby inevitably does theirs. If it’s even half as good as their Energon Optimus, I’m set.

Better ratchets neck and fingers could make a great figure the battle mask features cool though
Okay so I had this figure wondered why the ratchets failed immediately they don’t fail they just never worked they screwed the actual ratchet part so it can’t rotated so it gets locked not letting it ratchet then also because of it not ratcheting (the teeth part) the outer plastic stretch’s causing it to snap

I have the Original Cybertron Figure w/ Wing Blade no Problems and this one MISB not gonna open him. Transformers Animated had those figure problems the Seekers where the worst for animated.

Just but the siege galaxy upgrade optimus prime it has sturdy joints and is fun to handle and just as acurate

A buddy of mine has had his original Prime from Cybertron for almost 20 years and it's still in perfect condition. New stuff having this many problems is just kinda pathetic, no excuse.
I got the original toy when I was a kid broke off his chest piece though and missing some parts guess that's what I get for putting him in a toy box😅

ngl the figure is too lankey for my taste. thank god i got the original couple years back. plus I'm not a huge fan on how the super mode looks on this figure.

This just makes me sad. I used to be in the same boat a really wanting the figure but when I ended up getting it I had the same issues and I hated it after that. Is it really that hard to get good quality plastic?
Oh also the ratchets on the arms are made so stupid that even if they did have good plastic those would be breaking so that's another big problem
