I'm just fascinated by the fact that everyone _does_ wait. And his popularity doesn't decrease, it actually goes up. Meanwhile, someone like Dashie has been consistent for years, and every year his views and overall popularity gradually wanes. If most RUclipsrs took 9 months off, especially without explanation or updates, they'd come back to a dead channel. Again, not shading Cory, it's just fascinating how he's cultivated such an invested and loyal fanbase.
He's like the first RUclipsr (that I know of) to enjoy the same benefits as certain musicians who can take a long hiatus and still have the world anticipate their return, and thier old content is highly consumed in the interim.

I always think to myself in moments like that: It's not like he'll disappear off of the face of the earth. We may see him every now and then on social media for decades in the future for all we know. Even if he stops RUclips, I just like at least hearing updates about them being happy or whatever

I think cory before he became a full time youtuber he was studying computer science or at least coding because in one of his videos i remember him speaking about the for loop in his earlier videos which only programmers know about and considering he went to school that explains him using binary which is more complicated than a regular programming language which is easier to understand. Cory is a really really smart man.
