We all are lol, there are several facts that even really intelligent people probably didn’t know about
In japan I had a crow try and take my food, another BIG as crow came outta no where and tackled it. Ever since then I'd come outside, and the crow that pulled up to help would fly over and just hang out with me. This was around 2016 while on deployment. :)
In an outright fight, The gorilla MIGHT have a shot but the jag will likely jump on its back and skull crunch it

Gorillas lose to leopards outright, and jaguars are roided up leopards.
Leopards are half the size of jaguars and yet they are THE major predator to gorillas, being able of killing silverbacks too in a 1 vs 1 quite often. Cats are just build different, and despite what people think, gorillas are very incapable fighters since they rarely throw hands.

I’m guessing that since it’s energetically costly to raise its metabolism and organ function, it would require larger prey to offset the energy cost. So when the eat smaller prey they don’t get as much energy to fuel further digestion. But don’t quote me idk 🤷🏽♂️
Leapords have gorillas on their grocery list, jaguars have pound for pound the strongest bite force of the big cats. Jaguars are wiping the floor with a gorilla, maybe the gorilla has a chance but 9/10 jaguar cooks

@melonsauce1474 Nope, Even fully Grown Silverbacks are known to be killed by Leopards. Most people don't realize Gorillas are VERY inept at fighting due to their pacifist nature

As in speed and possibly bite force sure. But a gorillas raw strength is no push over. I don’t really see a jaguar making if the gorilla manages to get a hold and keep hold of that Jaguar.

@daiquanb60 Well, leopards in Africa are a threat to gorillas, especially young ones. I don't see how a bigger stronger jaguar who goes for the skull not the neck couldn't kill one.
@@karsonmars8202 I didn’t say it wouldn’t or couldn’t kill one. I gave speed and bite force to the jaguar for a reason and solely raw strength to Gorilla.
Just stated it’s not one sided between either one. I guess it all comes down to who kills who more frequently in a one v one

Jaguars vs Gorilla, Jaguars wins almost for certain.
Leopards win against gorillas in their natural habitats and they're less bulky than Jaguars.
Everyone focus on the Gorillas strength because they're so much stronger than humans. But sheer brute strength whitout good weapons in the wild isn’t very useful in a fight. Gorillas don't punch like humans when they fight and they don’t have claws, they have nails exactly like ours. Their only option to deal damage is their large canines, but the Jaguar has them too.
As for hyenas vs lions. Lions win almost every time too. Even though hyenas have a more devastating bite force, they're much smaller than lions. The best chance they get is when it's a lone lion vs a pack of hyenas.
The crow vs owl one though is harder to tell. They're about the same size and owls are almost always alone while crows are almost always in group. The owls have sharper talons and beak though...
With the gorilla argument anothing thing people forgot is that gorillas have skin which is very flexible, but a jaguar claws will tear through it no problem.
@@imanamerican553 oh yes forgot the skin thing. Other primates have thicker skin than we do but it's still very easy to pierce for a big cat. Look at the silverbacks hairless chest, there's not a lot to protect it from a big cat attack.
