RE B, he’s usually the first one there and one of the last to leave. An operating engineer in SFO gets paid OK but they usually get a good bit of overtime. Not sure if they have a 35 or 40 hour work week like some of the trades in SFO do but if you are getting time and a half for the 8th and 9th hour of the day and even more for a real long day, it adds up fast. I know there are days I miss overtime pay.
I am hooked on this video. Amazing to watch it go up. Looking forward to seeing what and how they start to finish the lower floors. There are a lot of floors to be added on top of what is already there. I also like the views you're taking from street level, some interesting views. Great footage of the lighting storms. Looking forward to another adventure next Sunday!
RESPECT the construction workers. "34.2 degrees" and then in full safety clothing ... and all the tools on it. You will be finished in the evening and just want to go to bed. But I noticed the colleague with the sweeper and the flatness measurement. Is that not coming anymore? Many thanks to Hospital Construction. Another great job with interesting impressions from the street view. You are doing a great job. thank you
always enjoy your vids the hard working guys in action,Iwatch with a cup of tea as I,ve just got up it,s usually about 8ish here in Thailand ,a perfect start to the day now for some breakfast ,keep it coming great live action
There is something i could not graso till now... 19:11 they pourd concrete at +8 am..... 19:40 they steped on it and start power trowling and it took only 30 min. Appriximately between pouring and setting!
I wonder if there will be any screed put on after mounting of the drywalls. On my construction sites (not on reconstruction) in Germany the drywalls will be part in the the screed, no spaces for doors as they are put some centimeters above the floor concrete
"Ok boss, what's my job today?" "Take this here angle grinder up to level 3, cut off 11,200 nail ends in the ceiling. Next week, same thing on level 4."
Garritt DuBois, they are to highlight different wire ties where the rebar has been connected together per a code rule. That way the inspector can quickly sign off on them and they can proceed with pour. Each color indicates a different rule or connection purpose. For instance, when you splice rebar lengths you have to overlap them for certain distances and you have to tie them so many times also at specified distances. Other rebar is to strengthen for twist and shear. They have different codes and rules. If you make it easier on inspectors they make it easier on you. I’ve worked in cities where you won’t get sign offs if you don’t grease the skids so to speak and others are totally straight, but in all of them it’s better if you make their job easy.
So I am guessing the installation of the secret trap door will be seen in an upcoming episode? Or did you have to edit that part out to keep it a secret?
@@HospitalConstruction .. I think it will be fine. Information posted on youtube stays fairly private and secret (I read that somewhere on the internet years ago.)

How do you get away with the cold slab joint in the concrete poor, or pour the columns and the lift shaft without jet washing or scabbling away the latents
Does the construction crew have a choreographer that keeps everything sorted out as to when each part of the construction happens or do the workers just know what comes next?
what camera do you use? and are you able to zoom in on stuff after its recorded or do you have to actually be there? great stuff.. i would love to see the process for inside as well..
Are you talking about the safety tie offs? Those won’t be removed until the building exterior is complete. The guys who will install the walls or panels will need those to tie off.
@rats arsed Who is belittling the Hospital Construction guy? I complimented the fellow on his series and even placed a smiley next to my comment to indicate my suggestion was lighthearted. That isn't even remotely disparaging. Frankly, your tone is selfish, condescending and discourteous. You are in no position to lecture another person if you cannot find it in yourself to at least respect another's opinion. We move forward in this world by engaging in conversation and sharing ideas, not by slamming another person because he or she might happen to hold a different perspective.
Who ever the carpenter foreman is should go back to Mcdonalds. Loading studs one by one up the side of the building? What are you going to do when the sheetrock comes? I wouldn't order any studs or other material unless the company im buying it from has a boom truck or a telehandler.
I imagine the lift and slide outs will be in operation when the sheetrock comes. The only time they've ever closed the street completely is when the crazy guy was blocking it.
Supposedly it will be complete in "Winter 2021". However, the last 320 days is listed as "interior work", so work visible from the outside will probably end well before "Winter 2021".
Стройка и ремонт не заканчивается, их только можно приостановить. А вообще это сериал типа "Санта Барбара", я так понимаю S сезон. Но уже на новом объекте.
Another clue as to whether someone is a supervisor is how clean their vest is. Although that doesn't always work, since it doesn't distinguish from architects, technical people, management, etc.
Also love the western theme music for the riding cement finishers.
Yeah hi ho cowboy 2 is s great choice and i get a laugh when the cement finishers are working and that song is playing
You mean the concrete horses. 😄
They are floaters, and I enjoy the tune accompanying this a lot
21:52 Yay!! Hi Ho Cowboy!!! I love watching this every week
I love your humorous comments and captions 😂
Glad you enjoy my "dad humor"!
OMG never realized the Crane moves by itself I presume to place itself in the best place in the wind? great Vlog as always thanks you
Yes, to reduce stress from the wind, they let it swing freely. Sometimes called "weathervane mode".
@@HospitalConstruction thanks for the reply i do relay love these Vlogs
After many weeks I finally caught the crane guy climbing up at 6am Thursday. I am addicted to this. Well done!!

That was a full on episode. So much to look at at one time. And 34C and 56% humidity is my kind of weather.

Hello and good morgen from Germany ;-) Thanks for the Video 001

You do a wonderful job on this series and it is much appreciated.

Sooo many pipes hanging from the roof of the ceiling. wow. I'm guessing they are going to put in a drop ceiling.

is that the elevator shaft form they keep raising up? kinda neat.... if so why cant they make an outside one piece instead of individual sections
lmao. come the fuck on dude. how would you move a one piece form? how would you strip it off the concrete? sigh. lol.
@@DieselRamcharger I don't know. How do they do that with the inside form, which is one piece?
How do you get away with the cold slab joint in the concrete poor, or pour the columns and the lift shaft without jet washing or scabbling away the latents
Addicted to this but had to mute the music on this one mate. Found it to be a bit annoying. Good job capturing all the workers!
Listening to your own playlist is definitely allowed.
33:27 is that a vertical crack in the top right column?
Just stain/drip of something, I'm sure
Good to know. 👍

I wonder why all of the columns are not the same? you have round ones up to a certain floor and square after that.
The round ones will be exposed and visible. The rectangular ones will be mostly inside walls and not visible. It is an architectural choice.
Hospital Construction figured it was a reason just did not know what that reason was for. thank you
I hope the camera goes up more level because the building is already going too high and it won't look good
I wonder what caused the shadow on the bottom right hand side at 49-00

The "new" St Mary's Cathedral. At one time, the old one used to be at the site where this building is being built.

А что 2 этаж технический? And what about the technical floor?
У них есть подвальное помещение, а первый и второй этажи "цокольные" считаются технические. А остальные этажи, жилые.

@rats arsed --- There are a lot of musical choices out there and certainly one is not limited to using the same melody over and over and over.
