This MAP is limited animation/PMV - styled, so there's tweening used in all these parts. It was fun to experiment a bit with it! Plus, absolutely love Glass Animals, so I had to hop on this one. Originally was gonna just do 27 and 28, but took up part 9 as well recently to help push the MAP closer to completion!
The animatic at the end is just something a little new I'm trying out, so my videos aren't too short with MAP parts. Little animatics to show some characters.
STORY:
(Part 9)
Laridae and Volt are telling tales to whoever will listen. The specific stories they're reciting in this part aren't based on any actual folklore or tales, but rather a story based off a children's book story I saw in a dream, and the other loosely foreshadowing part of their own story. The last scene is them reciting the tale of how their world came to be! They tell these tales on the docks for tourists (and money).
(Parts 27, 28)
Vihal and Jack/Hal, at one point in time, used to be frenemies. They'd show off their magic powers to eachother, pulling mayhem and pranks on the other carnival members, and getting into play fights here and there. However, in reality, Vihal was trying to get one thing in his possession - a powerful crystal ball. When Hal ends up getting his own, Vihal being empty-handed, their relationship turns sour and Vihal's true colors begin to show.

Laridae has a big crush on Volt, and she isn't very skilled at expressing her feelings. There's only so much Gabriel can do as her mentor.

Super cool you recognize him! I mention in the description, my character Vihal has a piece of a shared past with him. Even his name was originally inspired off him, haha
