He first shows how to add harmonic saturation for perceived loudness, then explains how to use a compressor to control the dynamics. Then he explains how to eq the track to bring more energy to it and then add some stereo width by using a spreader. This is a great tutorial for beginner engineers such as myself. I do not intend to record and mix other artist. But learning the steps to master my own music is key 🔑
How the Hell does this guy get the ability to perfectly mimic artists from all spectrums and genuinely give it their feel or essence , that's insane to me right now
They have programs that help you do that it's amazing though presets that can make you sound like other artists

Great video. For mastering, I would use a multiband stereo enhancer rather than a full band one to ensure we are only widening the higher frequencies. I also use a multiband saturation plug-in like Fabfilter Saturn to ensure I can use different amounts and types of saturation for each band. I also use two limiters (usually the Slate FGX and the DMG Limitless) to reduce artifacts and distortion when increasing the volume.
I was about to use landr cuz I be mixing and didnt really wanna master but just by following your steps and using a couple different plugins. I made it sound way better than what Landr did lol. and I was able to save the preset! I appreciate the video bro

FYI VIEWERS: If your mix is trash, this will not sound clean for you like the mix in the video! Also the chains you will use will depend on what the track needs and not so much what the presets can do for the audio! The art and science of audio engineering strictly depends on an experienced ear and knowledge of what the industry requires on a technical level in order to understand what any song needs by simply listening to it and knowing which tools to use and why. Food for thought this is something youtube cannot train you for!

Can you master your track still while in the mixing session. Or you export it as waves and insert it in the DAW and master it ?
Its better to Export because then you DAW or PC will not loose the CPU. But when you have 100+ Tracks + you use your Plugins your CPU can Crash. So its better to export.
Should’ve done a two in one, mastering on Pro Tools and on FL Studio all in one vid.
I mean what's the difference? The plugins are the exact same thing on pro tools and fl... it's legit just waves has nothing to do with the daw lol
@@polery3235 It’s really not I’ve been using FL Studio for years and when I tried Pro Tools for the first time in 2019 there was a major difference, Pro Tools just has a more powerful sound engine than FL Studio.
