"Stayed Gone" is such a fantastic song. It perfectly establishes Vox and Alastor's dynamic. The fact that Vox was so hot-headed and felt the need to assert dominance in the first place, while Alastor stays collected and nonchalant already suggests who's superior. vivzie said that u can ship the characters if u want 🤷 it's not that big of a deal lol. plus, aroace people can still technically date if they want.
@@cruciant yeah, but representation is few and far between (the only other aroace characters I've seen are either in books about it or ttrpg live play characters) and most shippers kinda just... ignore this part of his character. Not everyone needs romance, and Alastor is one of them. If the shipper in question takes into account the fact that he's aroace then that's fine, I just haven't seen anyone actually make the effort to do that
@@cruciantits never going to happen cannonically :) viv confirmed that as well. She said have fun sure but its never going to realistically happen.
@@AdriftInTheWatersGorge i know! Im just saying theres nothing wrong with shipping it if u want
Shippers trying not to make the most unhinged and gay relationships possible challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)
Omg please please keep doing this reactions to the show! I just finished hazbin hotel and I’m vicariously rewatching through your videos 😭 your commentary is so real
11:00 I think there is a theory that Vox had something for Alastor and it wasn't just asking him to join his team. If he got asexual "Ha! No."... damn.. 😂😂
Alastor is such a goofball. Striking back if needed (he usually doesn't give a damn about others unless they try to fight him somehow)
Angels decision to join the hotel is a little more complicated than free rent, there's a music video that they put out called addict that goes a bit into it, although it was made before the show got picked up so how much is still Canon is a little up in the air
The moment of laughter, confusion, resolve to look up and then regret to looking up “donkey show” 😂
I'm obsessed with this show omg
I love Everything About Vox, Velvet. I like Valentin Character and Actor Design
20:27 “I have a soft spot for pathetic men”
You hear that everyone?!?! WE’RE IN!!!!
I really got surprised when I knew that Vox was voiced by Christian Borle tbh.
Alex brightman is perfect for Sir pentious and Adam I love it
And fizzarolli
I just finished watching your pilot video
I was suprised when I clicked off and saw an episode two reaction, LOL
Anyway, love your reaction as always!
Angle is actually their first customer when they opened up the hotel the first person to stay there he has been there for a long time. In the old Version. He is my favorite character and I don’t just love he because of his sexuality he is actually a very nice person and cares about his friends he’s also a really good character and important in the show.❤
I love how you’re attempt at Sir Pentious’s British accent sounds more like Tomotosauce’s Kikimora
How many times has this video been taken down?
We will come back over and over again.
is that so? Damn.. I hope the issues won't continue (I'm not familiar with making videos and stuff but it must suck putting extra work into trying to upload a video and keep it there..)

“Who’s Valentino I wanna see him!” Oh my dear child, you will take that back by episode four
2:45 - You have my sympathy, my dear. That noise you made was near-identical to the one I made when I learned what donkey shows were (in my case, it was when I learned about the original, FAR less kid-friendly version of Pinnochio, and it honestly scarred me a bit lol)
YES I love that you're continuing this
"I hope it's Alastor who walks in because he would hsut be like **Alastor impression** 'slay'" best part of the video in my opinion, id love to see Alastor say slay within the show, that'd be great.
A little bit of lore dropping here, the Vees refer to Velvet, Vox, and Valentino. 3 overlords in an alliance that control social media, TV, and the adult film industry respectively
Btw, if you didn't know, Vox and Val are [ALLEGEDLY] confirmed to be actually dating (or ''dating'' if you will and take my words with a grain of salt). They're pretty toxic and messy and complicated and horrible, but I think you'll like them. I love them. Toxic yaoi is good yaoi.
Edit: NEVERMIND, I was right the first time. They are a thing. Gay wrongs, hell yeah!
well everyone certainly has a taste, huh... 😭
are they? i saw that info was on like char's instagram pages but now all of it isn't canon anymore until we get some proof in the series
love that ship too tho im so simp for manipulative bitchy characters
Almost every yaoi is toxic lmao im not calling names but being a genre with girls main public speaks something about it lol
@@somewhatdrunkguy
Really? I've seen it floating around a lot as well as comments from one of the workers of the show confirming it as well (you can find that comment on the vox moments compilation video). I guess I should still leave some room for doubt just to be safe tho. Give me a sec.
Edit: Oki, I fixed it. Kinda.
If nobody has mentioned,Alastor is Asexual
And aromantic!
@@palomaroggeri8680 Yeah!
Yeah!
@@palomaroggeri8680 I don't think he's a romantic
@@jonghyxn5but he is, it has been confirmed. He is aroace
"i'll look it up."
Oh my sweet summer child
When Charlie said special little man that just reminds me of young Sheldon theme song, I am a mighty man😭🤚
Not her being as innocent as Charlie and googling the wrong thing.🤣🤣🤣🤣
i wonder if her cat will ever make it out of the room
Alastor is canonically Aro Ace FYI
Theatre Nerd: I really love Pentious
Me: Interesting...
"Looks up a Donkey Show" the intrusive thoughts always get you.
“Radio really did kill the video star” is low-key a FIRE line
Can't wait to see your reaction on the next episode and one of the biggest bangers of this show.
can't wait till you catch up with the series, I think your reactions to the final couple of episodes are going to be amazing.
Fun thing about Vox, he's voiced by Christian Borle who's been in many different musicals. The one that I know him from is when he played Emmett in Legally Blonde: The Musical. And HE WAS INCREDIBLE. The moment I heard his voice in this I got so excited. This entire cast is stacked with talented people from different musicals.
Fun fact! When Val says "ungrateful wh*re" and Vox asks which one, right after Val says "Angel Dust who else would I be talking about?" Vox points at himself.
Val was badazzling a gun at the part Vox said "You think angel would?"
Oh your reaction is the best can't wait for more
I KNEW you'd love "Stayed Gone!"
9:56 i randomly thought of kinji when i saw him dressed like that
2:58 It’s a shame that people aren’t learning what a donkey show is the way New Jersey intended with the classic 00s educational video Clerks II.
"Maybe he'll be their first success story." oh, you have no idea
You should also check out “Addict” it’s a music video that angel sings in and you get a lil backstory
She literally predicted pentious being the first to be redeemed
I'm loving vicariously watching this with you. So much fun :3
It's soooo much fun hearing all your thoughts and theories after watching the season finale 😅
I'll keep following for sure!
Everyone: looks at the reaction
Meanwhile Me: *c a t*
Oh my lord you DIDN’T look up a donkey show!!!! You sweet summer child 😂
I also freaking LOVE Sir Pentious, he’s got such an earnest goofy energy that kills me
Alastor really likes Ser Pentious, he wouldve offed him way quicker else xD Need a song with those 2!
Im living for your reactions, i haven't watched the series itself yet because i dont have prime. I have seen the gist of it through the songs and theory videos but im getting to see bits i missed with your reactions!
Sir Pentious did actually expose that even Alastor let's his guard down.
If I am too late then never mind!
I am highly recommended you to watch “Addict” (which is hazbin hotel official music video and sung by Angel’s former VA) BEFORE watching episode 4 as it can help you understand the relationship between Angel and Valentino more and get you into the episode more deeper
Vox is VERY close to saying "Baka" like a tsundere
Old art shows Valentino and Vox together btw
"I have a soft spot for pathethic men."
I feel a disturbance in the matrix.
This episode was so fun . And it only gets crazier from here
I loved this episode having the introduction of the three Vee’s Vox, Velvet, and Valentino was great. Alastor’s duet with Vox is one of my favorite songs of the show it’s like classic Disney villain songs who are fighting for attention. Vox is my favorite of the three Vee’s .
Sir penttious coment here aged really well
This is my favorite episode because it has my two favorite characters duking it out.
This has become my favorite episode of the season so far. I makes me laugh the most, I love Vox and the Crack head skit had me rolling. Also both songs are just great!!
Really enjoying these reactions, hoping to see more.
If you want more context with the Angel/Valentino stuff, you should watch the ADDICT Music Video. It's not technically canon but still great.
@@penguin50279A music video that happened before the series isn't a spoiler.
hazbin might be rated 16+ but jeff bezos is rated 666+ and is one the IRL exterminators.
I'm joining in on the people saying you need to see Hazbin Hotel's "Addict" video next. Hopefully before continuing the show. Just adds some more context.
YESSSSSSS I already watched all of six I love this series lmao I started watching it because of you
As a person who grew up as a theatre kid, just wanna say that your reactions are so so insanely resonant.
2:54 Yeah I felt the same when I looked up the soggy biscuits game.
I.....looked up the Donkey Show thing......yeah, I regret it.
I'd like to suggest to you Addict, a song about Angeldust that came out after the pilot. It might show you somethig interesting about him, just make sure to watch until the very end, after credits too.
