Hey Gents, wanted to start off by saying I am a huge fan of you guys. In addition, I think it is absolutely great that you didn't just edit the video into the one shot kill. It goes to show people that even with the knowledge, equipment, and condition required to make these types of shots it doesn't always goes a planned. I hope you two continue to post great videos of your outings.
Wow. A lot of negative comments. I own a 243 and have shot a few coyotes in my life time. A 450 yard shot is a LONG shot on deer sized game. Coyotes are smaller than that. It is not as easy as it looks.
Good day guys, good to show the ups and downs of hunting varmint. I would like to know what suppressor you used on the .243? Really effective. In SA that would help alot when jackal calling.
WOW!! what's the bullet and weight? man that was lights out. Been thinking bout getting me a 243 or 22-250 one specifically for long range work on coyotes...Nothing left to the imagination with that rifle.
I think it would be more effective if one guy ran the camera and did the ranging while the other guy shot. Then you could trade off. Just a suggestion. Nevertheless, this video shows also the frustrations that sometimes accompanies any hunt. Good video!
+Ozzie Jim There's the old squeeze the trigger and then there's snap the trigger. If you ever hunted coyotes you learn quick not to hesitate. Its understandable here though considering the circumstances.

+C D Kennedy Get a .243. It is more flexible in the bullet weights (smaller to larger).

Camera work needs improvement .keeping the game in frame is important for viewers. Good shooting though.
Are you using the factory savage 1:9.25 twist barrel? Does it stabilize the 105gr Amax?

Good hunting. Three animals that we do not need: coyotes, beavers, and ground pigs.
I miss the dartman and neighbor. They are great.
