I love this rifle ....I've always thought of the .243 being such an all-rounder of a calibre too .....easy and cheap to reload and I've never had any fuss getting them to group. Add what looks like a featherlight action , smooth bolt , crisp trigger and carbon barrel ..... I'd love to see that sitting in my cabinet ....
Incomparable really, the Hardy is a significant rem 700!design evolution. The Sauers are more unique factory designs, the S&L was a major disappointment for a close friend of mine
I work with these stocks. Most scratches (unless you really smash it against something) will come out with sand paper, by working from a high grit to a fine grit.
The Hardy hybrid is a precision hunting rifle designed and sold by Hardy Rifle Engineering in New Zealand. It is called The Hybrid because the barrel and bolt can be swapped out to change the calibre to whatever your choosing.
Thank you Chris. Another nice sensible review. Always good to watch an adult RUclips presenter.

Is there some bolt bind when you're pulling the bolt back? It looks like you have trouble pulling the bolt back smoothly after every second shot.
Great video and review. Thank you for sharing.
Great video as always
Hey Chris nice review nice rifle, out of my price range, unless I mist it have you or will you be reviewing the Bergara B14 Crest ? Thanks .
How would you compare the Hardy to a Schultz & Larsen Victory or Sauer 202/404; both have a similar barrel change system? Thanks.

It's a shooter and great looking gun. What bipod is that?
Hardy's own
@@chrisparkin431 ok thanks Chris.
I wonder how the finish of the carbon fiber will stand up to the knocks and scrapes that hunting rifles often take?

This may sound like a stupid question, but what is a hybrid rifle??
