I’m from Scotland and I had the privilege to go here with my school right not long before COVID started (October 2019).The day we arrived, the Empire State Building was the first place we went. We went at night time and it was absolutely breathtaking and actually made me a tad emotional, it 100% was my favourite moment of the trip. I miss New York so much, it is an amazing place. I am so so grateful for the experience though, definitely a one time experience with all the people who were there as well.
You are amazing on energy and really got so much in. Thanks for sharing this. I grew up in NYC and moved to L.A. 20 years ago to live by the beach. NY, (like London) is so fast, immediate / easily accessible. I get back 2x a year. It's always a great time. If you go back. May, (C. Park trees opening), mid Oct. (Fall folliage) & Christmas - even @ Dec 7 when the tree is lit & store windows are up, are all great times to visit. I really am enjoying your NYC vids. Next will be London!
Really enjoyed your video! I had a quick layover between Amtrak trains back in the early 80's when I was doing a circle trip of the northeast states. So I got to visit Manhattan briefly. I got a taxi out of Penn Station, and asked him if he would give a $20 tour ( $20 was like $50 back then) He did an excellent job. Then he dropped me off at Grand Central Terminal and I continued on the next leg of my train trip. New York is a great city.
WOW! Very nice your video you shoot very well.. complete. I like your camera how you zoom in/out. And you took videos day and night time how nice. I enjoy your videos full watch. Sending my full support here. Thanks for sharing this. Keep vlogging and sharing. Good luck.
Hi Shawn.....I remember the first time I went to the top of empire State building....I was 5 years old in 1962..... I was very amazed and excited....then we went up to 102... And dad told me all about the radio and tv antennas...then he bought me a little metal golden colored plated model of the building for a souvenir also kept the empire State building pamphlet and brochure........such a great day
Hi Shawn, I hope you don't mind, I have shared a few of your video's to our Facebook Page Majestic Travel Limited based in the West Midlands. I thought it would break the boredom whilst we are in lockdown and unable to provide day trip excursions for our customers. I've also posted a few of your Theme Park visits too. May I say I love watching you, you are so down to earth and a pleasure to watch. Keep up the good work I'd like to see more and share them of course. #staysafe
@king james yes it was. I went up in the needle above the 86th fl outside Observatory before it was updated to the newer version thst exists today. It was insane. Inside the needle is very small and you could feel the sway up there. Awesome experience just pricey. Ordering tickets for the 86th floor plus the needle is around 125.00 American dollars. It is probably a little more today. That was 2015 prices.

I was up there myself on the 27th December and what a fantastic view and such an iconic building. By the way Shawn that Ice rink you saw was Bryant park. The Rockefeller rink is right in front of the Rockerfeller Center next to the Xmas tree if it's still there. Also there another gift shop on the 79/80th floor between the 2 lifts, looks like you found a gift shop we didn't see.

I went to the top of the Empire State Building when I was in 8th grade on a school trip to New York City. We went around May and the observation deck you’re on in this video was so full you could hardly walk. But it was still a great experience
I’ve been to the topmost floor at the top of the mast. My dad works in radio and his friend got us up there. It’s a little cramped balcony but the view is amazing
The Empire is a nice building to get some spectacular views. It is impressive. But everyone should experience the Chrysler building. This is a beautiful work of art. The interior is Absolutely Gorgeous. The Art Deco Decor is worth experiencing. And you can get some good views, although different than the ESB. You really should plan on revising NY ( I'm sure you are) and for a longer period of time. I don't know if I should Thank you for these NY vlogs. I'm getting so homesick. lol. Great job!
