- AFTER MORE THAN TWO YEARS I HAVE REUNITED WITH BRETT AND HIS FILIPINO DOG BUTTER AT THEIR ISLAND HOME IN CANADA!
I took the Powell River Ferry in the morning, one of two ferries needed to reach Texada Island... the place Brett calls home here in Canada. Along the way, I meet a really wonderful Filipino working with BC Ferries. From there, I reach Texada and finally get to see this beautiful island home... a part of the west coast of Canada I have never been!
Brett and his Filipino dog Butter spent years living with me in the Philippines, and most recently during the pandemic lockdown...
So great to be back together after two years!

Absolutely beautiful seeing Butter and Bret on Texada Island. I will never forget the day I came home in Cagayan de Oro, and Bret was looking after this little abandoned puppy... watching their relationship grow, and seeing how they have changed each others lives and brought so much beauty into the lives of everyone around them. Just wonderful.

Oh our hearts filled with happiness, excitement ,tears flowing down our eyes when we finally saw Kyle, Butter, Bret (BBK) enjoying their reunion which we waited for a long time...... Bret , Butter , Kyle has been living in that haunted house in CDO, making content, established closer relationship, building precious memories that until now we want to cherish. Kulas has some Bonding with Butter when Bret is away for trips to Manila, that''s why Butter still remembers Kyle, she missed, & love Kyle. Butter's reaction upon seeing Kyle was happiness... We can't wait for (BBK) to have more videos & we know that they can rock people's heart with fun, laughter, happiness!!!! @@BecomingFilipino if it's a unique one for both of you sir,it was a tragedy for me.not only because the pandemic but I also got into major health issue.i was diagnosed to have a diabetes,but a more serious one(diabetic peripheral neuropathy)my nerves on my left foot were severely damaged.and watching your vlogs together with Bret gave me some sort of "entertainment" while recovering.

The video in CDO i’ll never forget was that moment when there was this tiny mouse hiding & Butter keep on smelling one of the steel tripod leg. Then Bret put the steel foot in the hole of the empty water container. Kulas shook the steel leg & lo & behold the tiny mouse fell into the empty water container. So great reuniting with old friends indeed. At the moment of encounter with Butter and a hug from Brett my memories of vlogs in CDO suddenly came alive.
