Legit got mine. The day he dropped this vid. Drove 5 hrs to Texas then 5 back to get one. I'm up to 160 miles and it so nice. It my first Bike ever and I'm about 5' 11. I ordered the parts before I even got home with the bike. I get my air filter today. Found some great lights you should try cheap too. I'll link it 👇👇👇
You got the link for the lights? I bought my Titan250 on 6/19, just hit 500 miles yesterday. I've done all the mods he's suggested and it runs so nice. I hope you like yours!
@@moneymonstertrading any updates on how the bike is doing? I'm thinking about buying one
@@thechosen5805 Still love it! Can't wait for riding weather to be here again. Join the Facebook group, lots of people have these and love them.

@Tiffany Toth I had to cut it up basically lol but most just lift the gas tank out
I can't believe how light the bike is, China is getting bolder and bolder with these models they are putting out. The shop near me is selling one of these for 3900 and I laughed in his face about it.
Thats why you cant go to the ‘garage’ dealers. I seen a ninja 400 for 6500 base. They wanted Around 8k out the door
My first bike back in the early 70s was a lousy used two stroke 200 cc that was burning up pistons, but I remember doing 95 mph on I-95.
Nj???
Yeah probably not a clone motor i noticed my 100cc Honda big wheel did 55 mph while my 125cc coolster only hit 50mph they're good just not as good nice starter or throw arounds and this is a 4 stroke 2 strokes ways faster so yeah
The bike this guy is riding only makes around 16 horse power and compares to a crf230. I once rode a kx125 race bike that went 100mph it was a 6 gear 2 stroke. The one I rode stock makes 39 hp and the one I rode had a crap ton of mods.
Yours going 80 is insane! Those few mods you did look worth it, because I only weight 165 and have it totally stock, and it's lucky to hit 68 on flat ground. Definitely going to have to learn how to do what you did mod-wise.
Haven't modded mine yet and I've gone 80... 158lbs, 5'7 😅
Does the bike have a carburetor?
@@JohnDoe-ku9cg no its fuel injection
That "vacuum" hose that used to connect to the air box is not a vacuum hose. It is the crankcase breather hose, and must not be eliminated, nor should it be left open on the end.
What does the breather do? Think about what happens inside your engine as the piston travels up and down with the engine running. Keep in mind that the crankcase is otherwise sealed (otherwise it would leak oil all over) and the cylinder extends out of the top. What we are worried about here is the volume that exists in the crankcase to include the volume of space beneath the piston. As the piston travels up the total volume increases, and as the pistol travels down the total volume decreases. When the volume decreases the air inside the crankcase has to go somewhere, and likewise when the volume increases more air needs to flow into the crankcase to occupy that volume. That is what the breather does. As the crankcase "exhales" the air normally is directed into the air box, and any vapors, oil droplets, etc. gets sucked into the induction system where it gets mixed with the filtered air and is eventually burned inside the combustion chamber at the top of the cylinder. As the crankcase "inhales", fresh air is drawn back into the crankcase from the air box.
What most people do who eliminate the air box is attach a small air filter of some type to the end of that hose. The filter prevents the crankcase from "inhaling" dirt, ground-up leaves, dead bugs, and powdered dog turds into the crankcase during the "inhale" cycle. Any oil vapor "exhaled" will eventually leak through the filter onto the ground. (Tell people who ask about the oil spot under your bike that it's not leaking, it marking it's territory.)
For a breather filter a tiny fuel filter pressed onto the end will help protect the motor. Allows free breathing but some protection.
Can you make a video showing all that. Didn't understand everything. Be better to see it.
love this man, was wondering the whole time watching that part of the video, I'm an engineer (the college drop-out kind), and I knew there's a reason it's there. Great explanation.
The best comment ever
Use a longer hose, go up ( so oil can return ) then down by the swingarm, you won’t need any filter.
I have the Hawk 250 I did all the mods and changed both sprockets on mine it will do about 87 miles per hour now on the gps! Both are really great bikes mine has been very reliable I’m at 1,400 miles now !! Great video Thank you! 👍😎🤘
Howdy, is there anything I should know before buying this bike?
@@joshwilliams2437 it's not bad but be ready to put some work into it and change out some parts with better ones. possibly the muffler, carb, etc.
Say MJ, your bike is the quietest of several I heard onroad tests as well as the best performing and fastest of several road tests I've warched. Kudos to you ! 🏍️
Appreciate the review...I might be purchasing this just to play around with it, not looking for something super fast. The bike looks great and it's almost unbelievable that you paid 2k for this bike.
Thanks for the update! My Titan is being delivered on Friday :)
I’m saving up for the venom x22r I’ll be able to order it next month
How have both your bikes held up so far, im considering buying 1 of the 2… leaning towards the titan
I bought 2024 model and although I'm 225lbs 6'1 I feel comfortable on it.
I've been engine braking with no problems too. 🤙
The gpr300( I think it's called know what Dunlop's your talking about) are _excellent_ tires even if you're driving crazy with a super sport, they work perfectly fine, unless you are competing on a track. For street driving they are the best hands down all weather, long life, high performance tire. Good choice and advice 👍.
Dude I just saw one of these in a scooter shop for the first time, the red model, and it was THE NICEST LOOKING 250cc motorcycle I've ever seen, and I've seen em all (online, most in person) and this bike looks better in person than online which is VERY RARE. I have no idea how it rides, the build quality, idk ANYTHING about this bike other than the looks, and my _opinion_ is that it is beautiful. Looks like a liter bike.
I just got my bike last week. I did the same upgrades to it and it rides great! No issues!
🤘
how much did you pay for your bike or how much down did you pi5

@Mark Lowe I want to take the air box out of mine but I only see bolts on the right side and nothing on the left side and I’m not sure how you remove it, let me know when you can my man thanks
Hey Chris Bowen! You have to take the plastic off on the right side. Then unscrew the four bolts on the air box. You pretty much have to pry and pull it out thru the frame in two pieces. I had to break mine to get it out.
Great video, thanks for the update. Please keep us posted.
Another thing ur gonna wanna do is get a "megaware" guard for ur battery the chinese battery are cheap and they wear out an break due to bumpy road and shock waves it the best investment trust me
I love that dude chastises big country
Also as someone who is 5'2 i ride this bike perfectly fine
Thanks for watching and listening
FYI I did some research and the motor is ZS165FMM-L which is a 232cc engine, a 230cc Honda clone only 5hp.
the wider tire has better grip and looks better I agree, but the lower ratio tire will give you lower top speed I believe, of course you don't want the tire too wide nor too tall on a small displacement bike, I would go to 160 or 150/70 17s on rear and 110/60 front
todavia tienes tus motos?
Nice bike bro thinking about one of these chondas next but more models are on the way so we’ll see
I have a 2023 XPRO Roadster250 EFI 6 speed. Changed the oil upon receiving the bike, before the 1st start up. Rode the bike about 215 miles, locally, no faster than 45 mph. Just to work and back. About 10 miles round trip. Just did my second oil change, and cleaned out the oil screen. Put in a quart and a quarter of Mobil 1 4T racing full synth. I have an oil cooler coming July 1st. August 4th, I'll be making a 75 mile trip, one way, on secondary roads. 55mph max. On average, what's the longest I can ride before I need to stop to let the bike cool off, and check the oil? I'm not a hard rider. I max the tach at about 4500 rpm.
personally i think you could do 75 miles straight with no problems.
Thanks for the update review. Good points. Not being able to engine brake with this bike sounds disappointing if the engine stalls out. I engine brake all the time with my Kawasaki motorcycles for gradual stops/slow downs. Sorry to hear about that for this low-cost mail-order motorcycle, which seems like a fun small engine bike otherwise.
You cant cap off that breather hose that used to go the air box. If you do the crankcase cant vent and the bike will leak oil from all the seals. Just leave that hose open to air. It wont hury anything
Sounds like you know what you're talking about, very good point
All you have to do is put a good Slip on. It seems that this is an Inline 2 Cylinder, so either figure out a way to put a Full Agraprovic or good aftermarket Full Exhaust with Cat Delete, as well as good Slip-Ons. This will add about 5 to 6 Horsepower. This mod with the better air filter, better Spark Plug like he has done would put Horsepower at around 20 to 25. Plenty to do what you want. At this point with every mod available, you could easily do Highway for as long as you want with plenty of power within any rpm range and it would also sound amazing.
Hope this helps. I'll more than likely be getting mine as well as the KPR200 Champion Bike as well. Check it out
Good luck.
This is a single cylinder 223cc not an inline twin
As far as I know these most of these Chinese 250s have crf230f clone motors so you can use most crf230f parts to upgrade it. Only issue with it having a ECU you'd need to tune it and bringing it in to get tuned can get expensive
@@cxnnern think the O.G df250rts has no ECU just a basic cdi & carb.
I mean you'd still have to re-jet it for mods...
Did you ever find out the type of brake pads needed ? I can’t find this anywhere and mine are squeaking bad . Parts are impossible to find for these bikes
Dude I live in that are you was riding East on Southern Boulevard passing the airport it's cool to see my city on RUclips
Yes sir! 😉
I second that. I recognized the airport and think you got off just North of Delray or maybe South of Lake Worth as I thought I saw the utility water plant towers after you turned back around to head back.
I was thinking about buying this motorcycle then I came across your video Thank you so much for the information I really enjoyed your video 👍😎🤘
These Chinese bikes are tempting with the low price tags and obvious road going abilities. I just don't have faith it'll last over 8-10,000 miles without major problems.
yeah I'm looking to buy one but not sure if it's worth it and how they'll last. As far as I know most of these 250cc chinese bikes are crf230 clone motors.
It'll last much longer than that with care. The QC on these Chinesium bikes have improved a LOT.
It could if it's well taken care of. I have a 150cc gy6 bored with a 171cc that is 7 years old with 8,000 miles on it and the stator finally went the other day. I rode the heck outta that thing. I just bought a Ghost 250cc I'm hoping will hit 8-10,000 miles.
@@thelagmeister Right on.
Consider the stator on your GY6 is probably $30-60, and many sources.
Im considering a CN250 Helix Clone Scooter.
New Stator is $70 I believe.
My 06 Suzuki Burgman 400, Stator is a "OE Suzuki factory part" - $480 no cheaper.
See why I'm considering buying / testing / replacing my reliable but aged Burgman with a new 2023 Ranger CN250 clone Scooter ?
Thanks bro for you videos. I'm here in Florida as well. Looking for an economical bike for around town and 5 miles from work no highways. Its great how your able to ride and keep giving vital information, you have a gift my friend
Will this be the same for the GTX 250efi?
Replacing all that you mentioned,
How do you adjust the chain?
That was a good ride them motors are tough I'll be ready to get my bike double checked out...
this helps a lot thanks
This bike looks so much like a zx6r 👍🏾
223cc btw. Just so you all know... all chinese 250cc are actually 223cc. Not 250cc. Not that it's a bad thing. Actually makes it more impressive
Hi 👋,
Thank's for review. I bought 2024 Titan 250 off Amazon from HHH store. I have about 300 miles on it now and gotta change the oil.
How much oil did you put in?
K&N make the best quality performance air filters . Some of them you put oil on the filter part. Some you don't. It usually says on the filter itself.
OLD VIDEO but....@3:26 That's most likely a PCV hose & not a vacuum hose. It sends air pressure from the engine crankcase back into the air intake to recycle it. You don't want to plug it....Pretty much all cars & motorcycles have them. Lookup pcv valve / pcv system. My 85 Yamaha has one that goes from engine into the airbox. If I remove it, the bike has slightly less top speed coz it's getting less air flow. If I was to remove stock air box & go to a dynojet kit & pod filters. You're supposed to add an air filter/cap to it so it can breathe & also keep dirt out.
Go with a foam filter and a precharger wrap if you live in a dusty area, that style of filter is really cheaply made and doesn't catch fine dust well
Wow you were lucky.,...
Enjoy the video
Hey I’m looking to get one as well but quick question, does they come with a OBD plug on them?
Thank you for the info Iam going to buy one too cant afford any Japanese motorcycles
Can you do an oil change video
Awesome thanks for the updates brother
After the 300 mile break in. When should the next oil change be?
we run royal purple in our rps hawks, plus we add i think it was zinc to help the tappets.. i wonder what style engine yours is.. if its a old cg like the hawks
Is the Titan or GTX better?
Im assuming these mods will also work for the GTX 250 since they are identical engine wise??
Nice review and useful mod advice. Any idea what's the seat height?
28 mph to 60 mph in 13.2 seconds (approximately) not bad for a scoot with gears.
Im getting into bikes rn, was looking at this and a venom x22r. I noticed in the video the fuel gauge went up and down. Any issues on that?
I'm ngl, the venom x22r max just looks cleaner, and I'm pretty sure it performs better. This bike is slow af, and with the dual exhaust I'm pretty sure u can't upgrade it. But with the venom x22r, it can hit 90 easily if your like 140, and you can upgrade the exhaust pipe. So me personally I most likely might end up buying the x22r.
In your opinion, which do you think is better? The gtx or the titan?
great question
Titan looks way better
What is your rationale for overfilling the oil capacity beyond the manufacturer's specification? I've never heard that on any engine.
I’m looking into getting this bike or the GTX 250 EFI. I’ve heard that they are relatively the same but I was wondering if you or anyone may know if that’s true
plugging that pcv valve will cause you problems youll build pressure inside the engine and blow the oil out of the crank case seals
14:23 21mph - 14:39 60mph in (rounding up and down IN YOUR FAVOR LOL) Call it 20mph-60mph in 14 seconds, and 80mph top speed?! Horrible dude, Google specs for other bikes. I don't understand why the bike is so slow for a brand new, fuel injected, 250cc & 6speed! It DOES look peppy enough YES 80 is fine unless you wanna race expensive cars and other motorcycles. If that is not important to you than this bike is perfect. I saw one today in person for the first time and was blown away how beautiful they are, like THE NICEST 250cc I've ever seen PERIOD. SHOCKED when I was told it was from China lmfao. One theory of mine about the performance of this bike is, maybe, the engine is intentionally under-stressed to prolong the life of the engine and components. Something they did for the Suzuki Gladius. The result of doing that is the bike smashes into it's limited top speed, instead of redlining fifth, just to shift into 6th & flooring the throttle in 6th gear for 3 straight minutes as you ponder where your bike will hit it's top speed ceiling. The latter seems proper to me, but I can appreciate an engine lasting forever because it's creator prevented the owners from bringing the engine to it's outer limits _every single time they ride_ .
Not a real 250 its 230 cc
Have you thought bout changing the sprockets etc
I might do the chain, but don’t see how it would benefit the bike changing the sprockets.
Ok so does good with the acceleration etc that's awesome. What chain size comes on the bike
@@brianfloyd3095 the chain is a 520 with 114 links
Oh ok
@@MJTechChannel Changing to a larger front sprocket or smaller rear can add some top speed but cuts acceleration. Going the opposite way does the opposite. It’s a popular mod on these small displacement bikes.
From your video it looks like it’s already geared for highway speed and not for low end acceleration. 80mph is about the max you can squeeze out of any 250cc motorcycle.
I definitely recognize the area lol I’m in the same one lol our 95 is brutal for a 250cc it’s definitely doable tho for a couple exits I sold my old x22r but I took it on the highway once and that was it got it up to 79 mph
I've seen ur vids bro . question u think there's a big difference between this one and the one u had.?
I just subscribed to your channel. Quick question, is the Regency Titan 250 street bike the same as this bike?
It seems to be the same
@@MJTechChannel okay thank you and keep riding and stay safe👍
Are you able to modify the exhaust muffler manifold at all? That dual stock pipe is hideous.
Yes you can very easily
They come with a wax type coating or an oil type coating is why on the tires. You have to burn it off by burning out your tire some I seen in other videos on chinese bikes.
I have done per hour 119 with my Suzuki 155 cc believe me or not
I’m 5’7 180 this would be perfect
so is this motorcycle good for riding interstate to ride back and forth for commute for work
How’s oil change work? I had a bd250 but when doing oil changes there was no oil filter. Does this bike have a filter? If so I’d like to see an oil change video since I’m debating getting 1 of these
Checking your channel since Frankenstein, nope.
That’s not a cheap motorcycle.
It should be called a more affordable motorcycle and less of a rip off! Because it seems mostly half the money is going towards the name brand! And maybe 10 to 20% it’s going towards better parts. Once people figure out what parts need to be replaced immediately you can turn it in to a competitive motorcycle with other 250 cc bikes!
Americans are learning they don’t need much higher cc to just go around town!!
Hopefully we will continue to get more of these Chinese made bicycles!
I’m not gonna care until the day an American company makes them for no more than double the price and I am I’m hired by them!!
I had a honda cbr250r and i must say i enjoy the titan more than the honda and im a big honda person. The cbr just had more pick up thats it
Doesn't seem safe to not be able to keep up with the faster traffic. It's basically a scooter. The Ninja 300 has excellent build quality and reliable day one. It goes 115 mph tops and accelerates as fast as 600cc bikes in first gear. Used can be about the same price and looks just like this 250.
Man how on earth did you get the air filter box out? Im catching hell trying to get it out but i cant seem to get it

Yeah picked up 2023 GTX and I'm having the same issue after 104 miles as of today. Where's the link to sensor ?
I have a serious question. How u get the big filter box out.
Remove the seat. Comes out from the top. There a fuel filter mount that’s welded. You need to bend it temporarily to remove the box.
looking to order the blue one, would love to have it delivered to your home so you can help me build it and upgrades
Is this from Amazon ? Also I am 140lbs ; I should be able to hit 80mph right ?
do you have the part numbers for the brakes and do you know what stater would fit
That rpm meter probably has error and doesn't go above 5k or 6k max... The Chinese companies has the habif of giving away the bike for free in exchange for positive reviews but there are some honest influencers who declined and bought the bike and have done unbiased review...
I am looking at a yamaha MT-03 321cc I believe. Nice tho
No offense but I do not care about the microphone, because I would rather just listen to the bike, would feel like I am the one riding.
Not to be judging .. but last I heard .. 250cc were supposed to be redlined .. high reving engines ... Am I wrong ?
I'm 3 foot 6 I guess this is too big think I'll get a Harley and lower the seat.
Is this a good beginner bike???!!
How can I replace the filter? I can't seem to get the box out. The battery mount is in the way. Any suggestions?
