Seemingly safe to have assumed but I figure it's worth noting, I've tested and can confirm it works the same way on the new Switch version that just came out.

I'm currently working getting the Excalibur II which I never bothered to get when FFIX first released. I also happened to notice that there were no PC runs listed on the Speedrun site -- I'm sure there are reasons for this.

I imagine it's because the ps1 and ps2 versions allow you to eject the disc to skip FMV cutscenes

Thanks for making this video. Whenever I've watched your group speedrun from last year's RPG Limit Break, I've been trying to figure out how you guys did this. Hopefully this still works with FFIX HD on Steam and PS4? I'm gonna try it.

Yeah so I'm playing on ps4 and the ability wait isn't working. It just stays on active mode

You need to swap to wait in the settings

how are active and wait in config differrent?

Active means that ATB will keep filling in sub menus, wait means it won't
