Love Roy's speech at the end, which yes, is absolutely about him and Keeley. Thinking he's not good enough, that he's just dragging her down or holding her back.
As said, Zava is based on Zlatan. When Zlatan signed with the LA Galaxy, he bought a full page ad in the LA Times that read “Dear Los Angeles, You’re welcome.”
The crazy thing is that Zava probably had to be toned down, because if he was exactly like Zlatan, the non-fans or casuals would think the character was too over the top.
The thing about Barbara is that she works for the people funding Keeley’s company and it’s quite literally her job to keep expenses low and reasonable. Keeley hiring Shandy was unnecessary and is a massive expense
god gals i love that you catch that the speech was about Keeley, even if just as metaphor, because i hear a lot of people complaining that the break up was too random and just for drama, but this episode give us the clear picture: EVERYBODY, even Jamie, were compleatly surprise not only by the break up but that Roy was the one who decide to ends things, but since the first season an issue with roy is that he doesnt belive himself to be good enought, and people just doesnt notice because of his tough persona. He usually fell selfconsius with his age, with his skills, if he will do good enough as a tv presenter or even as a couch, but the biggest thing he was always unsure if he was good enought with Keeley (remember whe he was super clingy with her in season two, you can easily explain it at him thinking he have to be stuck with her or he will lose her), so like with Chelsea it was easier for him to quit instead of keep trying and probably falling even worst. i think nobody is happy with their break up, inside and outside of the show, but it was inevitable, at least if Roy doenst deal with his issues.
Zava is based on the real life footballer Zlatan Ibrahimović . One time Lebron James sent him a jersey as a gift and he autographed it and sent it back. , also that Dani Rojas moment was probably based on "Chicharito" Javier Hernández who scored his first goal for Manchester United off his face .
Been following your Lasso journey since the start ( my bro in SLC dude ). Maple your bangs and dress go together so well, guess you’re going out after ❤️👍🏽👍☘️
I like that Barbara and Keeley are teaching each other different lessons to try and find compromise. Keeley is open-minded but lacks restraint, while Barbara has a rigid level of restraint and lacks the openness. One is too vulnerable, while the other is too guarded, and once they find a healthy middle, they'll be unstoppable!
Anyone else upset they didn't include Zoreux (the goalkeeper) saying "Why would Zava write a book about Trent Crimm?!" 🤣🤣🤣 My fav line of the entire series, including that entire banter
In football it’s very much a sacred place the locker room and in training so alot of clubs and old school footballers much like Roy wouldn’t want press anywhere near behind the scenes etc as the press are always out to expose players in English media. It’s an oldschool but still prevalent mindset that the pitch and interviews are for the fans and the press and behind the scenes is for the coaches and players only. That’s why we have no in locker room interviews in football unlike American sports. The vets won’t have it.
Danny's goal reminds me of the one scored by the Mexican Chicharito with his face during his time at Manchester United.=) ruclips.net/video/pGj5gKIP3Pw/видео.html

"I don't know what your beef is with Trent, but I'm gonna need you to order off the vegan menu right now and squash it"😂😂
Best under the radar line

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was one of the best footballers ever, top 20 - you tube his best bits ❤
Kobe Bryant sent him an authentic Lakers jersey as a welcome gift. Zlatan autographed it and sent it back to Kobe.
Zlatan also came back to struggling Milan and help them to their first championship in years just like Zava went to struggling Richmond.

14:32 one of my favorite parts. He’s here, he’s there, he’s every f**cking where Roy Kent! Roy Kent!
Standard chant - ❤️😎
I swear to god I keep hearing you say "Diet Jesus" every time 😄
I love Trent Crimm being at Richmond FC, he brings a wonderful dynamic ✨
He really does. Becoming a diamond dog too.

Yep
Also, Katz Wix is a down-low superstar ;)
@ she really is awesome
I can imagine very few things more terrifying than playing in El Chapo's youth league! Danny is much safer surrounded by English soccer hooligans.

5:14 that’s Will’s ‘office’ 😂

What a fucking legend
Didn’t know the little nut was off his nut, had some great style.
Denis Law just died 😞
Rebecca’s coat is my favorite outfit of hers in the entire series. I would love to have that (and her figure, too).

Will is always there because it’s where he works, his boot room. Your feelings about Shandy are the same as mine.

Not soliciting or ignoring the advice of your CFO (a ridiculous luxury to have one as a start up) is the quickest path to failure.
It annoys me so much when all the reactors don’t get this like that’s what reality is like babes
Having trent be a regular for season 3 is a great touch

3:17 - this part is awesome. The show does a partnership with Nike for this season: ruclips.net/video/XZlT2B2kq2Y/видео.html

And against Chelsea too, what attention to detail 😲
Yup. Def inspired by Javier Hernandez.

Are you going to react to Fargo (the series)?
