When the characters talk and think during the video you can see the difference between MHA (where they only see black and white) and also BSD (where everyone knows that there are no bad and good only gray people; yes you can say that Fyodor is gray too. He just believed in his belief and that what he is doing is good).

So one of my favorite characters is Higuchi (I love her 🥰)
And when Chuuya was talking about how it's not easy for people to get out of the mafia except for Dazai and Kyouka (which is true) there is a moment in the fourth volume of the manga where Higuchi says in her mind "Getting out of the mafia is difficult but not impossible [...] however, I didn't for one reason" more or less the content of the thought was and now isn't it strange? After all, it's a known fact that getting out of the mafia is incredibly difficult (I'm not talking about Dazai who has the protection of Mori as well as Kyouka who has the protection of Kōyō) so why does Higuchi think it's "easy"
There are also things that she can do and normal mafia member doesn't (well Higuchi is a bit above normal members but still) for example (I'm not going to write volumes or anything like that if someone wants just search the internet for manga panels or in anime moments 🥲):
- ignores Mori's orders and goes to rescue Akutagawa
- when Q was released she was the one who went to Dazai and informed him about it (and yes Gin was there too however why did Gin with Higuchi go? Why not just Gin? You could say that the information Dazai got was important and also confidential after all it was about Q. I also don't think an ordinary member knows about Q but that's my opinion. So wouldn't it be good for only Gin to know about it and go to Dazai told and left? Why was Higuchi there? Other than being Akutagawa's sidekick and the fact that she is very good with weapons is there anything that makes her stand out? This I don't know I hope to find out)
- during the conversation between her and Dazai she said something like (I don't remember exactly) "I read your story" which is very strange. Why do you ask? Because the executive position is still available to Dazai as if he never escaped. Where do I go with this?
*Only other executive can look at another executive's story*
So why was Higuchi able to read Dazai's story?
- Higuchi spoke back to Mori during the conversation (when they were talking about the failure to catch Atsushi). Doesn't it seem strange that Higuchi (who is the least respected mafioso) can speak back to the Mafia Boss? On top of that, this Mafia Boss doesn't do anything about it?
I would write a few more points about her but I think I don't want to bore the people who read this anymore if anyone wants I can give a link about her character etc. (oh my I wrote a lot forgive Higuchi just she is one of my favorites and I like to write about her 😅)
I will also add that Higuchi has an ability just not shown. I'm curious to see this 🤔

First of all thank you so much!! I'm glad you loved the reaction! I believe all the BSD characters are grey too even Fyodor. Akutagawa and Chuuya's relationship is seriously one of my favourites and I just love introducing it to more people😁
I think Higuchi is a very underrated character and about her ability, I knew she had one but I wasn't sure if Chuuya knew that so I left it out. I think we need a Higuchi backstory lol. As you said she thinks getting out of the mafia is not impossible and she knows Dazai's story but yet she is not respected by her subordinates. I think there's more to her character that can be explored.

dazai didn’t become an executive at 15. In stormbringer, Dazai and Chuuya are 16 and they fought over who would become executive first. Also, in the dead apple flashback, when shibusawa killed some pm executives, Dazai said that he and Chuuya should be celebrating their deaths because it meant that seats have opened up for candidates like themselves

I'm not fully through the video, but it's absolutely great so far. I really love how you covered Mori, because it was incredibly accurate. And the acknowledgement of how they treat Elise!!!! They absolutely do treat her like his daughter (for anyone interested, look up the omake for volume 10).
Just one nitpick so far, Dazai wasn't an executive until after the Dragon's Head Conflict, so he was about 16 or 17. But that's just a small issue fhdhhd
Edit: dhdhsjsj while it is funny i would also like to add that chuuya and kajii are friends! chuuya him and akutagawa have a really funny audio drama together (which can be found with subs on youtube), which is actually whats being referenced in that last kajii section tiktok.

I have watched that audio drama. It's literally so hilarious, even the onsen drama cd. I think that Chuuya pretends to be annoyed by Kaiji but is still amused by him lol. But then again Chuuya does have an overwhelming patience for people he likes lol. Definitely I see these 2 as friends that insults each other as banter.😁

True. What I mentioned in the video is not my actual thoughts but rather what I think Chuuya might feel to justify it. We know he doesn't have a soft spot for Q so what I made in the video is Chuuya's thoughts. I do think Q deserves so much better than being in the mafia. They was tortured and manipulated and locked up. They really deserve a proper childhood and it's sad they don't get that.
