I've been doing this for the past week every second day it's so amazing. I don't normally want to leave my house this past week I've been to the beach and out for a long walk even talked to a human..Bad PTSD so my anxiety doesn't normally let me socialize. this is really helping thankyou.
This was a gem of a practice, I feel so tight in my chest I feel I can't breathe. I feel invisible in this world and my sadness wants to creep in again. Thanks for this chest opening sequences. I am marking these as my favorites and will be hitting the replay button often. Also may I say your voice has changed so much from the first videos to the current ones. I love to see your evolution and the way you have evolved online. Hope someday will be able to practice with you. My humble thanks, to you and your amazing wisdom and the gift you share with the world, Echo. 🙏 Namaste!
Wow, I've gone through many trauma sensitive yoga practices here on youtube, but none of them really felt trauma sensitive. I knew this one was the right one when I started crying as soon as you started talking about grief being stored in the deep front line - I've felt it..
This was very beautiful. I became emotional while saying 'namaste' at the end. Thank you for sharing your time with me to help me release emotions which do not serve me anymore. I am grateful ♡
Wow, that second pose was like all I needed in my life right now... And have been needing for quite some time!!!! I think I’m going to sleep this way also, as it was sooo soothing for my hips and my tight side waist.. Alll the way up into my neck and head.. I felt a deep release and sense of peace.. Thank you for sharing this beautiful practice!!! Namaste! 🙏💕✨🧘♀️
I thank you from the bottom of my ❤ for sharing your practice with the world. I've been searching for anything that could help me release my chronic pain and your stretches and words have helped tremendously. So greatly appreciated, Echo. 🙏💗🌻
I did enjoy the practice but i would agree with others i wouldn't say this is a yin class as it did not have the principles of yin to hold the pose and stay for time it moved too quickly. Thank you for creating a class that is trauma sensitive thought i feel this is such an important message to share and i really enjoyed your energy you brought here too. Much love xxx
As I agree with the only other comment on the video below that reported the same thing. This was to show the exercises in short form to do own practice that included longer holds.
Thank you for this video. It is so simple and powerful. I have done it for three days now and it has brought me some peace inside so quickly. I expect my thoughts to get painful when I think about certain parts of my life and they DON'T. I am so grateful for you. There is something about your energy and voice that are just a perfect blend for me. I have also struggled finding my own way into to yoga as it seemed to have always been presented as a "work out" and it just didn't appeal to me. Then in my search for self healing, I realized I wanted to do this but I needed a teacher that guides thru a more spiritual or emotional connection/self healing approach. An here you are, my first teacher. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Sadhguru says that Yoga is not to get you in touch with the Gods, it is to teach you how to become Godlike (or some version of that lol) and I just love that idea and he is absolutely correct. :)
This was such a good session for me, pff the back of watch the documentary “the work” (beautiful & highly recommend) I came to this flow knowing there was a lot I wanted to release, and so mich more I wanted to accept. Thank you Echo, my energy feels so alive and clean, and I feel very gentle within myself. I think this will definitely be a flow I’ll be coming back to. ❤️
Been having panic attacks for a few weeks and this helped me release tension from today thank you for this Beautiful practice will be coming back to this
This was so gentle and amazing! Thank you for this awesome video. I have a bolster I use for Reiki sessions and I realized I could use it for yoga also, so it was totally peaceful and blissful and relaxing. This is my new favorite yoga video.
Thank you so much for putting in the time and effort to share this. Of all YT yin emotional release practices, this one brings out the most in me, so i thank you for that :)
Found this, and practicing again, one year later, apparently!!! I loved 🥰 what you said at the end, this time: when we Arrive to the yoga mat, “we can either allow our darkest fears to arise, or our deepest, most magical desires to come true!!!!”
While I thought it looked like a beautiful practice with some great information, I'm curious why you did not allow for the full 3-5 minutes that makes a pose yin yoga? The length of time is what allows us to work into the connective tissue, because it doesn't respond as quickly as muscle does to exercise. I'd love to hear your thoughts behind this practice. ❤️
I also think that the beauty of an at-home practice w/ a guided video- or self-guided as well- is you can pause and hold each pose for as long as you like!!! That’s what I do.. 🙏🧘♀️✌🏼
This was a nice gentle routine...although I was craving the longer holds of a traditional yin practice.
Absolutely. This is more a taster of yin.

Anaya Crow I agree. This was a bit quicker for those who do not have time to stay longer.

Is it possible that this yoga cause you discomfort and aches?
It depends on your body, mental state and breath awareness but of course anything can effect any body differently
